Beautiful home close to downtown
This home was perfect for our family of three and it was easy to get to the Plaza and downtown sites. We cooked while we were there so we appreciated the kitchen with pans and everything we needed to make dinners.
Great location and large townhome!
The place was easy to find and right off one of the main roads. Trader Joe's and several known restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. The Railyard Park was maybe a 10 min walk- great for going to the Violet Crown Theater and the weekly Arts and Crafts Show. We also walked to the Plaza several times which was maybe a 20-25 min walk- daytime and evening. We added going to Canyon Road one day which is probably 30 min or so walk away. We had lunch at the Teahouse to give us a break before walking back. The place is very spacious and decorated to feel like you are in a home. There was liquid hand soap in all the bathrooms including the kitchen- usually I have to bring my own as only bars are provided. There was kleenex in the rooms as well. The living room has a Smart TV so easy to log into your streaming accounts. We were there in December so didn't use the patios but the one off the master bedroom has a nice view. Master has a large walk-in closet. There is a large jacuzzi tub/shower combo in the master bath with a nice large rain shower head. It is a bit of a step getting in and out of the tub for short people but I got the hang of it. The 2nd bath has a normal shower/tub combo. The beds were comfortable. There are about 23 stairs or so to the second floor with a landing in the middle. We didn't mind the exercise but may want to keep in mind when packing a heavy large suitcase. The place was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again as it had the feel of being in Santa Fe, was comfortable and spacious, and a great location for walking to the main areas of town. Also, parking was not a problem as we were the only car there- you get one assigned space and a second for overflow if you have a large SUV. I have a smaller one so no problem fitting into the one space.

About Rebecca Rodriguez
Santa Fe holds a special alchemy for the creative process as well as spiritual pilgrimidge....both are very important to us. Our home is full of artworks from Taos Talent Todd Winters and Inuit stencils from the artic circle. We love the location with it's eclectic neighborhood of both the really old and the new...and the ease of walking everywhere. Both of us are also involved in Hospice & our work is focused on the empowerment of the dying. The Goal is to move from this world into the next consciously and without fear.
Rebecca Rodriguez purchased this Townhome in 2008
Why Rebecca Rodriguez chose Downtown
Ease of access to everything!! Love the ambiance of the eclectic neighborhood and the proximity of the Farmers Market and Railyard area. We looked for over a year and kept coming back to this neighborhood. This area gives us the old Santa Fe we've known for decades, closeness to shopping and dining, walk to farmers market and summer plaza events. Wonderful weather with 4 full seasons. We hope to retire there full time in the future.
What makes this Townhome unique
Peacefulness. Elegant surroundings but very comfortable. Easy 3 blocks to Farmers Market and emerging Art Center. Whole Foods, Trader Joes just down the street. Love our neighbors!! Outdoor setting off Master. ALWAYS something going on in Santa Fe. You can walk to the plaza on summer evenings around 5pm for live music and special activities. Cooking great meals (Out doors too!) and enjoying them outside with good friends and inspiring conversations. Jacuzzi Tub before bed!!
