The cabin was very clean & cozy...well kept. The pictures on line don't accurately show the interior...nice deck overlooking the lake and steps away from the waters edge. Loved using the kayaks & canoe. The lake was perfect temperature for swimming and very clean. A place I would visit again.
The Oxford Casino is roughly fifteen minutes drive and although I didn't win...I had a good time. Not many great restaurants in the area, however a lot of construction going on. Many local shops & stores within an hours drive.
Winnie was very easy to book the place with and it was easy to find. I also lived that it was pet friendly!
I would definitely book the place again...very comfortable.
Winnie, our week at the cabin on Tripp lake was wonderful. Although we had neighbors it was still quiet and relaxing. The Air conditioning took the edge off on hot nights and the lake was great. All the amenities needed were there. Walmart is 15 minutes away for all the grocery needs and Naples and Bridgton are 25 minutes away for restaurants and the Bridgton drive-in. The cottage is central to everything, yet away from it all. We stayed with our 3 teenage sons and they were never bored. The fishing was also great. We would definitely stay here again.
This was my family's third time renting the camp and we had a great time at the camp. The kids loved playing in the sand and fishing off the dock. The cabin was very clean when we got there, and the camp has every thing that u need. We love going to this camp and would like to thank Winnie for letting us make great memories at her camp. Great place for a vacation!
I am amazed as I recall that we have been renting the O'Donnells' cottage on Tripp Lake for three summers and are already "booked in" for two weeks next year. We have a very special reason for being in Maine in the summer and are so grateful that we have a cozy, comfortable place where we are able to stay and to entertain our large family. The joy and memories that this home has brought to everyone will be a part of our family's heritage for many years to come, thanks to the generosity of Winnie and the beauty of the area. Those seeking a very pleasant getaway in a pristine location should consider this lovely lake house.
My stay at the cabin was wonderful from start to finish... We arrived to find the cabin clean and welcoming. Our son was getting married in poland and the travel time to the wedding site was very convient. The lake is so inviting even with the hussle of the wedding I found a few minutes early in the morning to take a dip and then again at night.. Even though you have neighbors it is very quiet and you think you are the only ones at the lake. If you are looking for a non stress rental look no further... with Winnie you are a winner!
We had great weather for our two week stay. We had a wonderful and relaxing time and would recommend staying there. There was plenty of room to set up a tent and or screen house. The access to the beach was a bit difficult, but could be easily fixed with a new set of steps with a railing. The owers were very accomadating with answers to any questions that we had.
