Big beautiful deck - large fenced-in yard made it great for our dogs. Huge master bedroom with ensuite and shower. Nice to have two bathrooms on the main level. Just the two of us, so the upstairs bedrooms were not used. We did enjoy the stove in the living room - very cozy. All-in-all the house was great.
This place actually looks better in person! The address on the directions was incorrect (when you click on "directions" it turns the address from 1835 to 1910??), but we were able to find it. I was very happy with our stay. Comfortable and accommodating. I only had contact with Lisa once (when I reserved my dates) and that was all that was needed. Everything about the stay was easy. I will say that if you plan to do some cooking (like bacon or pancakes) it might be best to bring your own pan. Pans are provided, just not the greatest. Overall, had a wonderful stay!!!
Let me start by saying that the house was everything we were looking for.... on the inside. The house was clean and maintained. Unfortunately we were looking for a bit more space from neighbors. This cabin is by no means secluded. The neighboring places were closer than my neighbors are in the city.
If you are the type of vacationer who is very active - hiking, skiing, fishing etc - or maybe you have kids, this is the perfect place for you. My husband and I just prefer a quieter, more secluded vacation.
That being said, I would recommend this listing to my friends that are more inclined to be social. Also, Lisa was very nice and helpful, I recommend renting from her.
Great place to stay with all the needed amenities. The cabin is very cozy without being crowded and is located in a very quiet forested neighborhood and has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths which are nicely appointed. We cooked most of our meals at home but there are good restaurants a short drive away. Also the location is on the eastern edge of Pinetop so it is a short drive to the casino if that strikes your fancy.
Another big plus is that Lisa allows dogs as long as they are well behaved and stay off the furniture and the cabin has a fully fenced yard with a doggy door so your pet has all the needed amenities for their stay.
Lisa was also the perfect host and the cabin had all the necessary pots, pans, plates, silverware and cooking utensils as well as paper products. It has 2 tv's with cable as well as wifi.
All in all a great and affordable place to rent and I would highly recommend it. I think we will start reserving it every year for our getaway from the heat weekend.
Lisa's property was PERFECT for what we were looking for. It's nestled back in the most amazing cute little area full of trees and wildlife. We had a great stay. The cabin provided everything we needed and our three dogs were in heaven! The gated yard and doggie door make this an animal owners go to place to stay up in the pines. It was great and we will DEFINTELY be back. Lisa was always fast to respond and super friendly. Also, we woke up to a completely flat tire one day we were there. LONG STORY, but due to specialty lug nuts we had one hell of a time getting that tire off. A COPMLETE ANGEL by the name of TJ, who was the handyman for the cabin literally SAVED us. He did so much to help us and his efforts are more appreciated than we could ever express. This place rocks. Lisa rocks. And TJ is a life saver and ROCKS as well. We will be back
