The Perfect Winter Get-Away
We have stayed in many vacation homes, looking for that "perfect" one. I think we finally found it! A great balance of modern touch with cabin comforts, as well as a great kitchen (we celebrated Thanksgiving here with extended family). Also a great place for several families, given the multi-level living design. In addition, working with the owner was far easier than most. She was responsive and provided lots of great information. We hope to be back soon!
We strive to give our guests a great experience, glad to hear you enjoyed our home!
Clean, comfortable, everything we needed.
Beautiful modern mountain home with plenty of space to spread out. Can’t wait to go back.
I always enjoy our annual trek to this exquisite property!
Gorgeous house in a beautiful setting!
Wow! Epic weekend. 2 families with 4 total kids stayed for 3 nights. Anne, the owner, was incredibly responsive and enabled us to rent the house at the last minute. The layout of the house is PERFECT for large groups. We were essentially able to share the main floor living space and then each family occupied a floor for sleeping. The house is less than 10 minutes form Sugar Bowl, where we skied for 3 days. The house is so well done and comfortable, but not so "fancy" that it doesn't feel livable. We will definitely rent again!!!
Ideal Ski House
Just returned having stayed at Lodgepole Pine from a long weekend skiing and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house is beautifully designed with a great layout - the large open living area on the second level was the perfect place to hang out after a long day skiing. Will definitely be back.
our favorite tahoe ski house
We have returned to the Lodgepole Pine house several years in a row now. It's very easy to get to from SF and is super comfortable for 3 families with young children to relax and have fun. The kids love the loft- and we love the open floor plan on the main floor. Plenty of bathrooms, heated floors, and well stocked kitchen. Very clean and comfortable- and even has yoga mats. Can easily ski to Royal Gorge, and it's just 5 minutes to Sugar Bowl, or 30 to Heavenly. And if anything comes up, questions or otherwise, Anne is a pleasure to communicate with and very accessible. We've always come up in the winter, but I imagine it would be lovely in summer as well. The place has 3 decks and wonderful outdoor space.
