The great room features luxurious furnishings through out the dining area, gathering area and game table area with a wine bar and custom powder room/half bath for visiting guests. The updated electronics include flat screen TVs, VCRs, DVDs, Stereo, Video Library and board games to provide in residence entertainment.

We have always LOVED the Gulf Coast and our move to Atlanta in 1971 gave us the perfect opportunity to really enjoy the beauty and serenityof the Pan Handle on family vacations. Over the years we hvae rented properties from Ft Walton to Panama City and Destin to Rosemary Beach.We have always dreamed of one day owing a little piece of that beach. In 1995 we discovered the perfect place to do it Perdido Key.The Key's proximity to Atlanta ( 6 hrs drive ) to the Pensacola Airport, coupled with its large stretch of National Seashore made us fall in love with it immediately.We knew that this would be the place where we would finally realize our dream of owning a beach home. Since that time we have owned 4 conods on the Key looking for the perfect one.

What makes this condo unique

302 LaPlaya is the condo we chose as our perfect property.It is located on a small dead end side street that leads to the Johnson Beach National Seashore 1 mile away. During construction we spent hours inspecting the views to find the perfect unit on the perfect floor.This provided our view out of the 'wall of windows' in the Kitchen/Great Room Area to be a perfect horizon view ( not too high/not to low ) The 450 sq ft covered balcony overlooking the Gulf provides 180' views and the breeze and sound of the waves crashing on the shore. We are walking distance to restaurants,bars,shoping and 10 minutes from the National Naval Air Museum ( Free Admission ) We are a quiet Low density building. We are a close ride to Orange Beach Al and Gulf Shores Al with all the other activities you may want to explore. If you enjoy eating out you will only be able to sample a few of the large number of fine restaurants. This will allow you to revist us again. The beach scene is perfect for all ages and kids will find it easy to find new friends on the beach. The National Seashore has miles of deserted beach for fishing, walking and exploring. It is the perfect place to escape to when you want to get away from it all and enjoy unspoiled nature. It is a' Perfect 10 for Biking '

We stayed at Joe and Lin's condo for the second time! I think that says it all! We loved it just as much this time around. Joe and Lin were wonderful to work with. The updated condo had been updated since our last visit and it is gorgeous. It had all the comforts of home, but it is in paradise! My teenagers loved having their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool was heated which made the cooler spring break days enjoyable. The view of the ocean and huge balcony were very enjoyable. The maintenance man was very responsive and helpful for a minor issue we encountered. I can't say enough positive things about our stay. Go stay at La Playa and enjoy the best condo in Perdidio Key!!

As I read your review I began to think of our goal in selecting and purchasing La Playa. Lin and I are both realtors and had previously owned 3 other condos on Perdido Key. By the time we found La Playa we knew exactly what we did and didn't want. La Playa was the one we would keep. We furnished it for adult guests and families as well. Lin chose to furnish it to accommodate our daughter's family with her three boys but limiting the guests to 6 persons including adults and children.Your review describes the reasons we love La Playa. Our 11 floors and limited density ( 3 residences per floor ) cannot be found elsewhere on the Key, this lends to a truly relaxing and uncrowded atmosphere. In these times of rushed, busy lives a vacation has to be relaxing. Looking forward to your family as guests again Respectfully Lin and Joe

Amazing View and GREAT time

From the moment we walked in, we were mesmerized by the view of the ocean. Left the sliding doors open all the time to hear the ocean. Everything was beautiful. The decorating was great and we felt so safe and at home there! Would definitely recommend to any family!

The perfect beach retreat

The photos don't do this condo justice. The minute you walk into the spacious living area you are greeted with the most beautiful ocean view ever! The unit is spotless, tastefully decorated, & supplied with all you need. The expansive balcony is out of this world. We loved watching the activity on the private beach & the ocean birds & dolphins. The beach was beautiful with a secure boardwalk leading to it. Pool was clean & heated. We loved the peace & quiet, even our second week which was the start of spring breaks. No waiting for the elevator, no noise, plenty of space on the beach, in the pool & in the gym. The wi-fi is a little inconsistent, so if you're having a working vacation where you need to transfer files, or if you're wanting to stream on your device, you might have an issue. But with that view & all the things to do in the area, who needs wifi? Several restaurants in the Perdido area & many more in Pensacola, Orange Beach & Gulf Shores nearby. Publix grocery is close by & Walmart not far. We loved it here & hope we can return again.Joe was a pleasure to work with, as were the maintenance man & security staff.

We are having a wonderful year and are excited about the total building exterior re coating. It feels so new and clean. We also updated the interior and had it professionally cleaned and the rugs shampooed prior to the rental season. Last week we upgraded the speed of the WiFi to the highest level ATT has available.( Lin has been suggesting it for weeks ) We were told this should make a big difference in performance. When we are doing real estate work we connect our laptop by wire ( DSL ) directly to the router, it is perfect for heavy work loads. It was our pleasure to host you and your guests at La Playa. Please think of us when you come to the Key again. We would be happy to put a preferred tentative hold on any dates you may want Sincerely Lin and Joe

Our family of four couldn't have been happier with our stay! The condo is beautiful- exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious; even better than in the photographs. My two teenaged daughters appreciated having their own en suite bathrooms (as did we!). The view from the large deck/master bedroom/living room is incredible, and the beach was never crowded. I will miss our morning sunrise walks down the beach to the National Seashore. We took advantage of the exercise room and pool, and essentially had both to ourselves just about every day. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are also a number of terrific restaurants nearby. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had throughout the process. Thank you for an idyllic week!
