During the summer season rates include a linen package ... sheets for all beds, 12 bath towels, 8 face cloths, 2 bath mats, 1 kitchen towel, 1 dish cloth and 6 beach towels. Beach towels are May thru October. Off season, linens are $60.00.
If you love the beach this is the vacation rental for you. 'Oceanfront Retreat' has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master bedroom has a private full bath. We have updated the property with tiled floors in living area, baths and kitchen. New beds. New furniture in living room with queen size sleep sofa. Color televisions w/ cable and DVD players in both bedrooms and living room. WIFI internet access. Updated, fully equipped kitchen with new stove, refrigerator w/ ice maker, built in microwave and counter tops. The kitchen has a wonderful breakfast bar for added work/eating room. New windows and sliding glass door.
The unit has 1 assigned covered parking space. The property offers a large deck and an outdoor shower. Use of the pool next door at Kingfisher is included. Walk to Garden City Pier if you want to fish, play arcade games or get something to eat. Easy walk to shopping, games and restaurants. A short drive to Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach.
We love everything about the beach. For us there is no better place. The sun, the sand, the people, the wildlife. Everyone is happy at the beach. We enjoy our condo as much as we can and are constantly working to make it a nice vacation rental. Since we bought it we have replaced/repaired just about everything. Windows, appliances, countertops, tile in the living areas, HVAC, furniture are just a few. There is still some to do, but in the meantime, it really is a nice place to vacation.
Being oceanfront is priceless to us. We love the balcony. The sunrises are wonderful. I like to get up and watch the sun rise then head back to bed for a little more sleep. Watching the kids play on the beach, couples walking hand in hand, wildlife swimming and flying by are just a few thing to enjoy. My Mom and I enjoy watching the surfers in the afternoon.
No matter what you like to do at the beach, it's all close by from where we are.

We had to be 'oceanfront'. Second row just would not do. We love to be able to walk to the pier or Sams Corner for a hotdog and the arcade and amusement places. Having a beach shop across the street is pretty nice too. The condo is easy to get to. The beach is not packed like down the road where all the highrises are. We just love the location.
The sunrises are to die for most mornings. I love being able to see the beach from just about anywhere in the condo. We fall asleep at night and wake up in the morning to the sound of the ocean.
We are located within a block of the Garden City Pier that offers fishing, food, cocktails, music and an arcade. The bank is moved to the end of the pier in the evening. We enjoy hanging out on the balcony and listening. They stop at 10.
We also have use of the pool at The Kingfisher which is locoed just next door. They ask that you please check in with their front desk and tell them who you are the first time you use the pool. Thank you.
The Sand Dollar is located in the heart of Garden CIty. You can walk to a several restaurants, arcades, rides and shopping. There is small grocery store that well stocked a short walk away.
My husband booked this condo as a surprise for our sons 16th birthday in August and it was fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better spot close to the pier which is great for night time fun listening to the band, dancing and watching the fisherman. Beach access was right there and the views were gorgeous. Condo is decorated beautifully and has a very home like feel, clean and was stocked with anything you would need. The owners were wonderful to deal with according to my husband. We plan on coming back when my mom visits from So Calif in June. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
We enjoyed our week stay at this condo and the convenience of the beach (which is where we spend most of our time), was perfect. The condo is well represented in the photos and explanations of all that it offers - neat & clean, beds were comfortable. Though the kitchen is small, it is well equipped. The 5 of us were seemed a little tight when we were all there at one time, but being on the beach all day and exploring at night, we managed well and had no problems. Two adults, two teens and a 10 year old on the sleeper sofa. Loved the live music from the pier each night and having stores and restaurants within walking distance. Parking is a little tricky under the condo with our king cab truck, but even still there were no issues. Owner was quick to respond with any questions. We would definitely consider renting again!
My husband and I have two small children (5 & 7) and we found this condo to fit our needs perfectly. The two bedrooms were spacious enough without feeling cramped and the condo was well equipped for all of our needs. It was also exceptionally clean upon arrival. The owner is responsive and addressed all of our needs and requests very quickly. An overhead light was out in the kitchen, and while this was not a big deal, I emailed Suzanne so she would be aware and she sent someone to fix it right away. The deck overlooking the ocean is also quite spacious with 3 comfy rockers and a high top table. We loved sitting out there in the evenings watching the surfers and late-afternoon beachers. The location is great. There are plenty of non-beach activities in walking distance (even for a 5 year old) and Murrell's Inlet is less than a 10 minute drive away. This was our first visit to Garden City. We love to try new places and explore new beach towns, and we look forward to a repeat of this one!
Great location! The weather was a little cool some days, but the children had a great time. Condo was clean. No complaints at all. There are a lot of little shops within walking distance. Definitely, would like to stay there again.
I had an absolutely fabulous trip with my fiancé!!!!!! We had less than perfect weather, yet still had a great time! The view was amazing for sunrises (and pretty cool during the storms too!), the condo was nice and cozy, and the owners were amazing! It is close to the busy Myrtle Beach, but far enough away for TRUE relaxation and quiet time. I would definitely go back, and would recommend this property to ANYONE!!!!!!!!
I wish I could give a 5 star review but unfortunately my family and I had a less than enjoyable stay here. The Monday after our Saturday arrival this unit had a major electrical problem. I immediately called the owner and was told she would call me back. We were now in a unit that was not operational. We waited for a return call that never came. I did receive a call the following day from a 3rd party electrical contractor. My private cell was given without my knowledge or consent to this person, so that the burden of overseeing repairs fell in my lap, the vacation renter. I spent Tuesday of my vacation in the unit watching over our belongings and making sure the property wasn't damaged by this third party. The electrician could not repair the issue due to the extensive nature of the problem, and in his opinion there was an electrical shock danger. I immediately called the owner again, because I really did not know where else to turn, I again was told I'll call you back. At this point we left the unit only returning to sleep. Wednesday day 3 the electrician returns and I sit and wait. Finally after several hours repairs were complete. I called the owner to renegotiate only for the 3 days that the unit was not operational. I had no intention of asking for a full refund just a reduction for the 3 days, I was hung up on. My family and I decided it was in our best interest to leave by our own choice we left the unit as soon as we could get out. I fully understand that things happen beyond our control, but the total lack of professionalism on the part of this owner was beyond belief. If you choose this unit I wish you the best and hope you don't have any problems, if you do I can tell you from my personal experience with this property owner, good luck you will need it. I will be back to Garden City it's great, but it won't be at this place. Oh just in case anybody is wondering, I'm still waiting for a return phone call.
