Relaxing, Cozy Cabin
If you're looking to get away from it all, really get away, then this is for you. Quiet, cozy, relaxing cabin out in the beautiful CO country. A quick 20min from town, 45min from the ski area, or just stay and hike the area, plenty to do. Enjoy!
Enjoyed our stay.
Just what we were looking for. Good location. The night sky was beautiful.
"Rainbow Valley" is the nickname my husband gave this place. We were there a week and saw rainbows 5 of the 7 days we were there.
1. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
We loved hiking on the property and adjacent National forest. We drove to various parts of the area enjoying the hikes and scenery but would always make it back to the cabin to be able to sit on the deck and watch the sunsets. Majestic!
Thank you Ken for allowing us to enjoy the serenity of your home.
Quite, comfortable, and views for miles!
Our family of 6 spent a week at this great place for work/vacation. Located approximately 20 minutes south of downtown Pagosa, this home offers the perfect mix of quiet rural beauty and town amenities. The beds are comfortable and our 2 youngest had no complaints about the pull out sofa. The bathrooms are spacious, the water was hot, and the shower pressure was great! The kitchen comes well stocked for most casual meal preparation and had more plates/bowls/etc. than we needed for family meals. However, the best part of this vacation getaway is the property. We spent A LOT of time hiking on and around the property into the adjacent forest and never lacked for new views and experiences. We saw an abundance of deer and other wildlife during our stay. If you are looking for a great place near Pagosa Springs, this is it. We will definitely be back!
What a beautiful property! Not only do you have 70 acres to roam around on but it backs up to the national forest. We walked every day and never left the property. The cabin is bright and cozy with a beautiful fireplace and all the amenities of home. Loved sitting on the deck looking at the stars. We fell in love with the cabin. It also has fantastic views. The only con was we had to leave! Thank you, Ken, for allowing us to stay on your beautiful property, we hope to go back one day soon.
Our family of six vacationed for a week experiencing our first white Christmas. It was a snowy wonderland we enjoyed while staying in the cozy, warm, accommodating cabin. Fabulous secluded location yet just a few minutes from town. Very clean, affordable and fun! Owner was readily accessibly via phone. All the comforts of home and then some!
