Our slope side getaway is a very large, beautifully renovated, well-appointed and equipped one-bedroom suite located on the top floor of the Aspens. The suite offers 701 square feet of living space with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. Our personal touch makes this an ideal home away from home for guests from all over the world.

IN THE WINTER, pick up your skis or board from our free building ski valet and ski down 100 meters to Blackcomb lifts. Enjoy dual mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb with the new Peak to Peak tram (11 minutes from one mountain to the other) or take the Magic Chair to the Whistler lifts.

Our mountain offers skiing until late season (usually until June). Experience powder, shorter lines, novice and challenging runs. Winter or summer enjoy people watch from the many patios along the Village Stroll; enjoy deep relaxation in one of the many spas; wine and dine in award winning restaurants or dance the night away in one of the lively clubs.

DURING SUMMER so many outdoor adventures are waiting to be experienced:

* Golf one of seven breathtaking courses along the Sea to Sky Highway

* Zip trekking through old growth timbers

* Defy gravity when extreme mountain biking on Whistler Mountain

* Hike the many mountain trails ranging from beginner to expert

* Bike along the Valley Trail - Can be enjoyed by trikes, bikes and pull alongs

* Jog or walk along the Valley Trail

* Skiing on Horstman Glacier

* Paddle around the glacial lakes

* Whitewater raft the Golden River

At the end of the day, enjoy relaxing time in the warmth of the fireplace or soaking in one of three hot tubs. Prepare dinner in the 'everything but the cook' kitchen or stroll to the village to enjoy any one of Whistler's restaurants.

Booking direct from Owner means no additional hotel taxes (14%) or booking fees from reservation agents (10-20% savings). The cleaning fee is included with minimum 3 night stay. Goods and Services Tax (GST) and RMOW fees are not included but will be added to the total amount due for the stay. For less than the minimum stay, the cleaning fee of $100.00 is added.

About Maria

Welcome to our getaway home in the four-season playground, Whistler. This home allows us to re-connect away from our busy lives. Here we have celebrated growth and change with seeing our children toddling to hiking mountain trails, skiing between mom and dad's skis to double black diamond runs, from training wheels to mountain bike and from riding in a stroller to golf cart. We hope you make our home a regular pilgrimage to rejuvenate, relax and re-connect.

Why Maria chose Whistler

We consider Whistler/Blackcomb our home mountain. It is an easy drive (less than 2 hours) from Vancouver. Being at the base of Blackcomb Mountain having a ski in/out location is so easy. We park our car and walk to Whistler and Blackcomb Villages (aka Upper Village), Lost Lake, Chateau Whistler golf course, the Valley Trail, etc.

What makes this condo unique

We have equipped our home not as typical rental unit but as a second home. Everything is there including a Nintendo Wii, Cuisinart small appliances, barbecue, laundry soap and dryer sheets, air conditioning unit etc. so that we never have to bring anything but ourselves, clothing and food.

Well, here we are for our 4th stay here in Whistler and the condo. It's beginning to feel like our second home! :) Once again, we had a wonderful time in Whistler and very much enjoyed the condo. Kids and husband had a great time on the slopes and we all enjoyed our walks into the village. Once again, hope to be back soon!

Great apartment at perfect location

We stayed 3 days during our Vancouver-Rocky Mountains round trip at this clean and spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen. The location is ideal to discover Whistler by feet, the new Museum "Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre" is close by, a very good grocery store Nesters market a few minutes by car. The Lost Lake Trail starts also a few minutes away. The area is very quiet in autumn. The booking was easy and well handled.

Want for nothing!

We enjoyed 18 nights at Maria's wonderful apartment and didn't want for anything! Everything is just as the pictures portray, but what surprised us most was how we quickly came to call this our home away from home. We were lucky to have plenty of snow to ski in and ski out so the ski valet service was fantastic and after a hard day on the slopes it became a must to enjoy an after-dinner hot tub (best to wait for everyone else to have theirs earlier). The kitchen has everything you would want in your own and the bed is that good (and big) it almost nurses you to sleep. The apartment is a short (and romantic) walk into Whistler Village proper and, if you're lazy like us, an even shorter cab ride back after visiting a few apres waterholes... If you're looking for a fully self sufficient getaway at one of the world's premier alpine resorts then Aspens 440 is the place for you! Thanks Maria, we will be back

Good for the Soul

Thanks for opening the doors to your condo. We love i here! We did so many things that was good for the soul. Lost Lake was so beautiful. Kids love the tadpoles. The hike to the train wreck was very interesting when we got there. The walks around the village was awesome. Entire experience will be in our memories for a lifetime. Thank you!

Enjoyable weekend with our granddaughter

This is our second stay at Maria's condo. We love the location with the easy access to all areas of Whistler and Blackcomb. If so inclined, one could cook a gourmet meal in the fully stocked kitchen, utensils, etc. We really appreciated the nice touches that make a difference ie. Starbuck's coffee, nice soap and bathroom amenities. Fortunately, there is an air conditioner in the main area and a fairly powerful fan in the bedroom as the weather has been hot. Our 14 year old granddaughter found the large pullout sofa in the living room comfortable. After a hot day bike riding and hiking the trails, we appreciated the opportunity to relax in front of the two televisions. We didn't use the pool as swimming isn't our thing, and our granddaughter opted out as well although there were many using it. Parking is $15.00 per day. The bike locker was full so we backed our vehicle close to the back wall of the parking stall in the hopes that our three bikes would not be stolen. They were fine last year and this year as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this unit on our next visit. Thank you Maria for adding your personal touches to ensure your guests enjoy their stay.

Perfectly wonderful

We rented the apartment for 2 weeks and when we opened the door we felt (almost) like home. Everything was clean, the interior looked like the photos, kitchen very good equipped and it's a really true Ski in/ Out accommodation. Maria was a very good host and I got fast and professional response of all my questions. If you are looking for a convenient, quiet and well maintained apartment, you should rent it.

We have travelled extensively using VRBO as our go-to place for accommodation. We are in Whistler for a conference, and while the rest of the attendees are cooped up in tiny hotel rooms, we have the luxury of this beautiful suite with all it's fantastic amenities. The unit is spotless, well appointed and provides all the comforts of home. The building is well-maintained and staffed.

Maria does an exceptional job of ensuring guests are well-informed about all the important details one needs in unfamiliar surroundings. She runs her rental operation better than many hoteliers!

For price, location, comfort and cleanliness, this place can't be beat! We'd come again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it as a perfect spot to stay.
