About Jenny or Eric

Camden caught our eye years ago on a weekend getaway and we kind of never left! We love small town living, growing stuff and outdoor fun.

Jenny or Eric purchased this apartment in 2003

Why Jenny or Eric chose MidCoast and Penobscot Bay

Benefit from our local knowledge, we're happy to point the way to great eats, sites and outdoor pleasures. Or we can leave you be to enjoy Camden at your own pace.

What makes this apartment unique

Feel free to enjoy the gardens on our property and farmette where we raise fruit, vegetables, grains and laying hens. Our pond is a wonderful place to birdwatch while enjoying an evening cocktail.

Wonderful rental close to downtown Camden, ME

  • 5 of 5

This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for myself and my mom. It was exceptionally clean and well kept. The view of the bay from the large windows and balcony are wonderful. We utilized the full kitchen for breakfast and light lunches. Jenny and Eric are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us great advice on day sailing cruises, restaurants, and other attractions close by. Jenny provides a continental breakfast daily of homemade pastries among other choices. I will absolutely stay here again with my next visit to Camden. I highly recommend this VRBO listing as you will not be disappointed.

Here is a really "GREEN" motel.

  • 5 of 5

This is a home away from home. Great location where you can watch the sunrise over the bay from the deck or living room on the top floor. The location is so convenient, just minutes to many attractions north and south. Always clean and well cared for, we have stayed here many times, never disappointed.

We always receive a warm welcome for owners Eric and Jenny and their service is first class. We have recommended the Birchwood to family and friends.

So many things to do and see in the area, museums, antique shops, natural wonders, the bay and sailing ships, Owls Head Museum and Capt. Jim Sharp's Museum, and restaurants galore. Make the Birchwood your headquarters for a great vacation.

Ocean View? You can see forever

  • 5 of 5

Bright, quiet, sparklingly clean, and uniquely "green," a fine jumping off point for lobster dinners (elegant or in-the-rough), easy hikes to heavenly views ("Ocean Outlook"), gorgeous 90-foot sailboats (take a lunch time or sunset cruise), quaint shops, lighthouses galore, classic New England architecture, and an on-site "farmette." Hosts Jenny and Eric are enthusiastic authorities on all. And, one man's travel tip: take an easy ride up the coast to Belfast -- colorful, and delightfully quirky.

Great Ocean View

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was spotless. It has two bedrooms; a modern kitchen with dishes, pots and pans. Even a dishwasher. The place had a nice airy feel to it, no clutter. We were a party of four and very comfortable. Jenny and Eric were friendly hosts. They were very helpful with information about the area, what to see and where to eat. Lincolnville and Rockport are nearby. Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park are only a short 45 minute drive away. We'll definately be back. Thank you Jenny and Eric for everything.

It shows that you take pride in your property. Dave and Gloria Laliberte
