The old stone house was rebuilt in recent years. The rebuilding was based on a clear philosophy, namely: health, ecology and energy. These three pillars can be found in all areas. The building materials have been chosen to meet all health-related, energy-saving and environmental aspects. So natural materials were used, such as wood and sheep's wool in Dämmbereich. The energy concept is based on energy saving, so Villa Paljari was built according to the criteria of a climate house B. Ecology is also taken into account in the energy sector. Thus, the hot water and the heating is done exclusively using solar energy and wood. For reconstruction, all materials of the old house, wooden beams, stones and bricks were reused. There are only flowery and oak floors in the Villa Paljari. The good insulation and natural materials create a pleasant indoor climate. Embedded in nature this feeling is reinforced. Surrounding forests, vineyards, olive groves and cereal fields. Around the house a variety of health-promoting shrubs and herbs are grown. Villa Paljari located in peaceful seclusion, yet integrated into the action of the village Visinada. The village center is only three minutes' drive away. On foot or by bicycle is the village on the "Parenzana", the most beautiful cycling route in Istria, accessible. The exceptionally large outdoor area of approximately 20,000 square meters offers the right ambience for everyone.
The stone house offers with its approximately 320 square meters of comfort for every taste. Divided into three buildings and a spacious outdoor area with terraces, pool and sunbathing area, it offers plenty of space. In the completely renewed "old" tract are the 5 rooms, each with its own bathroom. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style. In the new wing, the kitchen and the living room are located on approximately 80 square meters. This part of the house is characterized by light and space, kept in the style of a minimal chic. A successful addition to the Istrian country house style.
When entering the house, the interplay of tradition and modernity becomes apparent. On the left, the stone wall, which is kept in the typical Istrian style, juts out into the corridor. On the right, the spacious living room with kitchen and living room opens up.
The kitchen is a bit raised. The living room, spacious, bright and fitted with an oak floor, offers a graceful ambience as a transition to the outdoor area. On the ground floor there are two rooms, a third room is located on an intermediate floor. The rooms are all decorated with old traditional furniture and oak floors. The bathrooms are decorated in country style. On the ground floor there is still a technical room with washing machine.

From the kitchen and the living room, two large glass doors lead to the terraces, the pool and the lawn. The outdoor area is surrounded by a stone wall. Relaxing in this security is the most natural thing in the world. Adjacent to the stone walls lie on approximately 1.000 square meters further two terraces with plants which are beneficial to the health. A terrace is planted with Mediterranean plants such as olive lavender and rosemary. On the terrace below there are the fruit trees which also take into account the Mediterranean flair and its use for the health. In addition to pomegranate, paw paw, goji, strawberry tree, figs, pineapple guava, you will also find wild hedges and herbs such as hawthorn, artichokes, elderberry, mint, lemon balm and chamomile.
The entire energetic hot water treatment and heating takes place via a solar system. For the transitional period and in winter, the fireplace, together with the solar system, supplies the heating with warm water. According to the basic philosophy of being a home of health and ecology, our energy sources are sun and wood.
