We would like to welcome you to our beautiful, cozy holiday home in a quiet location. You can spend a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful time on the Costa del Sol in Andalucia here.

The living room has a LED TV with satellite reception for German program (Astra), an antenna for Spanish program and a DVD player. Radio / CD, air conditioning for hot and cold days. Internet Wlan / DSL (Wifi). With a cozy sitting area.

A small lighted built-in closet for the wardrobe and a safety deposit box.

Bedroom 1) has a queen size bed (box spring bed) with 2 bedside tables.

Bedroom 2) has a large sofa bed for one or two people.

The bathroom / toilet has a bath, wash hand basin with vanity unit, plus a built-in cupboard for towels etc ..

The small American kitchen is fully equipped with 2 ring ceramic hob, Gefrierfach- and refrigerator, sink,

Kettle, coffee machine, toaster. Kitchen utensils, pots, frying pans and much more so what you need to cook,

would all be there.

All windows are tilt / turn and mosquito protection

and equipped with a sunblind. For the winter, when cold weather we are radiators throughout.

Outside there is a shower house with a hydro massage shower and washing machine, dryer and a small refrigerator for cold drinks. And a clothes dryer.

At the pool there are four seats and another 6 seats at the barbecue area.

Terrace furniture, beach umbrella, sun loungers and a barbecue sitting area with a brick charcoal grill for cozy evenings is available,

Almuñecar is the most popular seaside resort on the Costa Tropical and nestled between mountains and sea.

It is a typical Andalusian small town of about 21 000 inhabitants with exotic park planted with trees, an old town and a lot of culture.

Almuñecar is also an important production location for subtropical fruits such as avocados, cherimoyas, mangos, kiwis, etc., which are offered daily in the fish market to buy. On the weekly flea market, you have an opportunity to buy typical Spanish products or simply to stroll from one stand to the next.

Summer with temperatures above 30 degrees, beautiful beaches and all types of water are characteristic of the holiday on the coast of Andalusia.

Almuñécar however is not just a tourist complex with 19 kilometers beach, but a city with a long history and a variety of attractions from all eras.

There are also the charm of the old town, which is perched on a steep slope overlooking the sea, and exotic impressions of nature. Situated on a plateau, 1 100 meters above sea level, the ecological wildlife park "Pena Escrita" is a species-rich animal diversity and wonderful views of the sea.

The Castillo de San Miguel is not quite as high above the city, but even here the fortified history of Almuñécar is combined with a natural paradise.

The botanical garden park "El Majuelo" below the castle inspires with many exotic plants and palm trees from Africa, Latin America, Asia and Oceania.

There is also the archaeological site of a Roman fish factory. Archaeological sites can be found in Almuñécar everywhere. Even a Phoenician necropolis from the 8th Century BC can be visited. In Almuñécar, there is a Roman and an Arab Besichtigungesroute.

The stroll through the old town leads through a maze of staircases, alleys and terraces with colorful shops and bars. Even the shopping center Centro Comercial Abierto follows the traditional patterns in its structure. Mediterranean flair and Arab exoticism found everywhere in the architectural styles. Popular places are Higuitos, Damasco, Kelibia or Madrid, but the Plaza del Ayuntemiento with its many street musicians, the evening peak. Only slightly away from here is the cultural center of the city, which invites visitors to numerous exhibitions and events.

Almuñécar climate is Mediterranean subtropical. It is characterized by an average of 340 sunny days a year and mild temperatures, always above 12 ° C and an annual average of 17.6 ° C.

it was not a pleased stay...:(

It is a small separate building on the same area as the owners house.So you have to pass their house to get to your place.You will never feel private.

Do not want to be rude but the cleanliness was 0/10.The biggest problem is that all rugs were in dogs fur and of course smell.So had to roll it and take it out. Said to owners about it and they have done or said nothing.All artificial flowers were VERY dusty. When we moved the bed there was even broken glass under it. The fridge was dirty. Toilet was smelly. Spend few hours to clean everything.Jorg has been waiting money from me for the final cleaning on our arrival even though he new we were tired after a long driving with two small kids. The washing machine is outside the building and to get to the swimming pool you have a couple staircases which are not safe for kids. The owners seems nice people but does not seem they care much about guests just the money.

Surrounding area is still very nice. It is about 10 mins walk to the see but on the way back be ready for the very steep hill as house located right on top of it.

Also WIFI you can catch only outside the building and the connection is very poor.

We had a few complimentary things like water and beer in the fridge on our arrival but over all was disappointed about the place we stayed in.

War das wieder schön in Almunecar

Bei unser Ankunft wurden wir mit gekühlten Getränken nett empfangen.Das Ferienhäuschen war genauso wie es im Angebot beschrieben ist.Es war alles in einem hervorragenden Zustand, es fehlte uns an nichts ,wir erwähnen dies da wir in dieser Kategorie schon negative Erfahrungen gemacht haben.Die Klimaanlage war auf dem neuesten Stand sowie auch die Technik (Wasserqualität ect.)des Pools welcher fast Freibadausmaße hatte.

Die Nachbarschaft des Vermieters und die gesellige Unterhaltung sowie seine Informationen über Ausflüge und Angebote in Almunecar waren interessant.

Wir haben für nächstes Jahr schon gebucht und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Urlaub im September 2017

Hallo liebe Gloria, lieber Jörg!

Das war mit Abstand einer der schönsten Urlaube die wir je hatten!!!

Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, wie beschrieben.

Wir haben in den 4 Wochen ausspannen, faulenzen , neue Orte entdecken können und sehr liebe Vermieter kennengelernt. Meine Ginger nicht zu vergessen !

Absolute Ruhe oder nette Gespräche mit den Vermietern, je nach Lust und Laune.

Wir danken euch nochmals für die vielen Tipps und Hinweise und die tollen gemeinsamen Abende!

Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir direkt den nächsten Urlaub gebucht haben.

Nur Noch 11 Monate!

séjour très agréable

appartement très bien agencé et propre je tiens à préciser pour les personnes ne parlant ny anglais ny allemand que le propriétaire réside sur place ( le logement et derrière sa maison je le précise car ça peux déranger certaines personnes) qu il ne parle pas français mais le comprend

jorg et gloria sont très sympatiques et accueillant la piscine et grande et dispose d un espace lave linge sèche linge et frigo il ny a pas de lave vaisselle

es war fur uns sehr schöne ferien jorg und gloria sind sehr freundlich und da fur ihre kunde das haus ist proper und fonctionell zu sehen!!

Our small Feriengästehaus located just 80 meters from Almuñecar in the Colina. Views of the surroundings and mountain. Very quiet location but just 5 minutes away from the beach and about 10 minutes walk into the beautiful old town Almunecar. The house has its own large sheltered and non-accessible pool.

The town of Almuñecar, as you will find everything you need. Countless bars, cinemas, museum and restaurants. Shops of all kinds and several beaches and coves very close.

To leave stress behind, to play sports, the summer provides z. B. Paragliding, road bike or mountain bike tours, golf and of course all water sports. And winter skiing in the Sierra Nevada about 90 km away.

In our little village has a daily market which is often visited. Every Friday there is in Almuñecar a bazaar every Sunday and also a flea market.

In the city center there are many small shops, cafes, bistros, ice cream parlors, restaurants, aquarium Almuñecar, Bonsai Garden Museum, Pena Escrita Natural Park, Parque Botanico El Majuelo, Cueva de Siete Palacios - Museo Arqueologico, UVS

From the castle San Miguel has a breathtaking view on the Mediterranean coast and the city. The "Castillo San Miguel" is home to a historical museum and can be reached with a nice walk on groomed trails. Below the castle a botanical garden has been created, where you can see many exotic plants and various palm species from Asia, Africa and Latin America.

In the middle of the garden an archaeological excavation site located with objects from the Roman period. In the neighborhood of the palm garden there is also a bird sanctuary, are held in the approximately 200 species of birds.

The Friends of the underwater world come in Almuñecar not too short, because it was an aquarium created in which cavort many exotic fish species. This aquarium is one of the most modern plants of its kind in Andalusia.
