The Eagle's Roost is located on a limestone bluff approximately 300 FT above the beautiful White River with absolutely amazing views. The name for this vacation house was chosen due to the large number of Bald Eagles that frequent the immediate area around the house during the mating season. They circle and frequently roost on dead tree snags on the property.
The house is perfect for your private getaway, gracious wedding, honeymoon, or family vacation. The large 'family room' provides entertainment with a wet bar, foosball, and pool table topped with an amazing view of the valley from the second floor.
The Eagle's Roost is ideal for your family reunion! Regardless of all the great amenities the reason you will love the Roost is THE VIEW...JUST AMAZING..THE SUNSETS UNBELIEVABLE.and the privacy...no interruptions by the jangling of a telephone.;.our cabins and vacation homes do not have them. Bring your cell if you need a phone.

From Guest Book ... Great place for a family get together. Lots of room to enjoy yourselves. We so enjoyed the hot tub, very large kitchen, tv and dvd and "oh the view". We saw a Bald Eagle. Thanks so much for everything.
What a comfortable "cabin"! Rooms are spacious (the 5th room upstairs is a bit tight, but we didn't need it for this visit). The view is relaxing and wonderful ~ perfect for a wind-down at the end of the day. Carla is very prompt to respond to any emails and/or texts and was very easy to work with for this rental. Eureka Springs is full of great restaurants, but if you decide to cook at the cabin, be sure to bring or purchase all your spices and condiments. The cabin is bare on cooking essentials, except coffee, a few filters, pepper & salt ~ nothing else is there, really. Everything else seemed sufficient. We had 4 couples in our group and everyone felt like they had enough space, as needed. I would definitely recommend the Eagles Roost to everyone!! Was a great stay.
Carla was very friendly and answered any questions I had. She provided detailed directions to get to the property which was very helpful.
The cabin itself was very inviting and very clean! Five bedrooms available (we only used three), pool table, bar area, hot tub, jacuzzi style tub, BBQ grill, privacy, amazing deck, amazing view...this place had it all!
It was about a 10-15 minute drive into downtown Eureka Springs, but the drive was really pretty and you pass right by the Thorncrown Chapel. You're close enough to enjoy the town, but far enough out to avoid the crowds and be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Northern Arkansas has to offer.
The only complaint that we had was that there were only two small skillets available and we would have expected more and/or larger due to this being a five bedroom home. We had six adults staying and we had to make breakfast in courses due to the lack of skillets. However, I didn't call Carla and ask for more, I'm sure if we had, she would have accommodated. The house came with everything else we could have needed, so it makes me wonder if there had been more at one point and they were either destroyed or taken.
Overall, I can't say enough great things about this place. The huge back deck runs the length of the house and we stayed out there relaxing and taking in the view of the river valley for hours. There were also lots of birds to watch, like cardinals and hummingbirds.
Eagles Roost was a wonderful place to get away and relax. The house was super clean. The hot tub was amazing! Highly recommend staying here. I know I will again!
Totally love the house! We had 10 people & was very comfortable. The view is to die for! Quite place to get away! Loved how close it was to town but was very secluded.
The view is fabulous!! The open layout of the house encourages lots of time together, but the 5 bedrooms allow for plenty of private space as well. The house is well equipped and very accommodating. There is a sense of privacy and seclusion from the rest of the world, yet the house is only moments away from Eureka Springs and all the fun, food and entertainment you want. The zipline was fantastic!! I would definitely go back and/or recommend to friends!
This hous would be perfect for a late extended family! Beautiful views!!!
My only complaint is that the carpets desperately needed to be cleaned, especially on the stairs and the game room area.
Eagle Watching during the months of November thru March the Bald Eagles frequent the area around Eureka Springs including several dead tree snag where they sit while waiting for prey.
