This house offers breathtaking views in a fantastic, unique location, about 80 meters above the sea.
To enjoy that, you should have a certain sporting attitude, because the way from the parking lot past the pool, to the front door is a staircase with about 50 steps.
The house consists of 2 separate apartments. If you are 2 to 5 people, all you need is the upper house consisting of living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with toilet. The lower, smaller apartment is not used then. If you are 5 to 8 persons, you can book the lower apartment too for good conditions. It contains a bedroom, a living room, kitchenette and bathroom with toilet.
The decor is simple, practical, and somewhat advanced in years. Please do not expect luxury.
The basic equipment consists of traditional Spanish furniture, made ??of solid wood. The bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. The kitchen is connected by a large hatch to the living and dining room, but also has a door directly to the open, covered patio.
The only room WITHOUT sea view, the upper bathroom.
For visiting the little romantic beach 'Playa de Ambolo' it takes approximately 20 minutesto walk. Since it can only be reached by a long staircase, the number of visitors, is usually not extremly high. Nudism is expressly permitted.
The house is located at the Cabo de la Nao, in the urbanization Balcon al Mar, a German and a Spanish supermarket, and a cafe with an open Wi-Fi can be reached on foot within 15 to 20 minutes. At the German supermarket there is also a restaurant with cheap and surprisingly good daily menu.
There is also an English supermarket and an ALDI store about 5 km towards Javea.
The location and surrounding area did not disappoint. The view was incredible and the entire family (2 adults and three young kids) loved the pool. 4 stars only because the inside of the house could use some updating but we were rarely indoors anyway. We had some trouble with the hot water and tv but the surroundings more than made up for it. Ralph and Andreas made arrival and departure very easy and the nearby rocky beach was awesome. 10 minute drive into town for groceries (less for restaurants) and the beach/boardwalk in the city center were worth a day of exploring. We all really enjoyed our time on the coast and would love to go back some day. Thanks again for all the help.
Extraordinaire vue, l'impression d'être dans un phare a chaque repas est un réel plaisir, bien entendu une telle vue se mérite et le passage par quelques marches est nécessaire.
Toute la famille a adoré la piscine, la tranquillité et bien entendu le soleil Espagnol, rafraichi en permanence par une petite brise qui rend l'endroit très supportable, même sans clim, en plein mois d'août.
L'intérieur un peu vieillot, une machine à laver le linge qui sait se faire entendre et le manque d'un micro onde (fort nécessaire pour une famille avec des petits) ne gâche en rien cet endroit fabuleux.
Seul réel point noir, une plage soit disant fermée, qui attire des dizaines d'Espagnol qui se garent ds tout les sens posant un réel souci de circulation dans ces petites rues escarpées en journée, le soir tout redeviens tranquille un vrai paradi.
Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir l'année prochaine.

2- NO BED SHEETS ... Only two old quilts and bedcovers.
3- Only german tv, not english or spanish.
4- No mobile coverage with Vodafone por other important brands, no 3g... ABSOLUTELY INCOMUNICATED.
5- No microwave
6- The washing machine does not clean, very old and not wash minor stains.
This house could be marvelous if the owners be responsible with the customers.
The small port town of Javea is about 9 km away. It has a picturesque old town with narrow streets and covered ape
Something newer is the Arenal with a large sandy beach, promenade, many small shops and restaurants.
Of course you must have seen the harbor.
The area is excellent for cycling and walking. Though, given the many climbs some fitness is required.
Western of the coast several mountain ranges meet. These offer a wide variety of landscapes with hiking trails.
The climate - seen all year - is one of the best in the world. The coastal region extends into the African climate.
