The house was beautiful and full of charm set in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

The property was beautiful, it had a lovely calming feel to it and has been done to a high speck. There is everything you could want in this property as a holiday home, lots of information about surrounding attractions, plenty of towels, cupboards full of stable kitchen items eg sugar, tea, coffee, dishwasher cleaner, foil, tuperwear boxes and a lovely utilities room so you can wash your clothes if required. It was kitted out with DVDs, board games, scooters, bikes, sledges, ping pong table, small bbq, hammock and sun loungers so if you didn't want to explore the surround area you have lots to do at the house. We was a little concerned with how close the railway was prior to visiting and worried it could disturb sleep but this really wasn't the case and we all slept really well. The scenery around the village was fantastic and so trips out even if a little way didn't feel far as there was lovely villages and scenery along the way to look at. We visited Wurzburg which was a great place for shopping, eating and sightseeing. The boat trip down to Veitshochheimen where you could walk along the river had a lovely playground for the children, crazy golf, walk around the town with some gift shops and into the Rokokogarten which was free was stunning. It had great ice cream shops and a beer garden on the waterfront which were both reasonable priced and served great food. We also visited Rottenburg a medieval town where you can walk around the towns wall for great views, visit the all year round Christmas shop and watch snowballs being made a delicious pastry. The outdoor water park at Geisbergbad was a hit with all the family, it was very reasonably priced with a toddler paddle pool, slides, diving boards, lane swimming and fun pool as-well as a play area on sand, table tennis and lots of shady areas. The pools, toilets and changing rooms were all clean. Car park was very busy so we had to park a bit away. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for one is this region and would defiantly book here again if we come back to this part of Germany as we hope to.

Urgemütliches Bahnwerterhäuschen

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
