Beautiful cabin right on the border of Acadia NP!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed! Its location was great... on the "Quietside" of the island and away from a lot of the crowds, but still only 25 minutes to the other side of the island. One of the things we enjoyed the most is that you can access many beautiful miles of ANP hiking trails right outside of the front door! Highly recommended.

Cute, cozy and new

  • 5 of 5

Perfectly cute and new cabin with the necessary amenities you need for the stay! We especially liked the washer/dryer. The screened porch protects from bugs, the property borders the National Park, heavily wooded and very quiet. It was located away from Bar Harbor, which we liked because there was no traffic and no tourists. The supermarket was about 2 or 3 miles away, which was perfect.

Clean, cozy, a perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was exactly what our family of four needed to bond, get into nature, and make memories. Our four and one year old loved making smores by the campfire, climbing the stairs to the loft, and hiking right into acadia. The trails behind the cabin were perfect. Not at all busy but just busy with just enough people to know we were not hiking into deep dark forest. The cabin had everything we needed - we just bought our groceries and grilled every night. If you have small kids, this cabin is perfect. No crazy trinkets and breakables, and the cabin was pretty much baby proofed all on its own. It's as clean inside as the air outside, and we were greeted as soon as we got there by Mr. Rankin and then left alone for the rest of the week. I didn't know what they meant by "quiet side of the island" until we went into Bar Harbor - which is so beautiful - but it was nice to be able to have a beautiful secluded spot to come back to without people crawling all over you. We just adored this cabin, the area, and our week there. We recommend this cabin to anyone with families. The screened in porch was perfect for coffee in the mornings.

Quiet Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great stay! A very well stocked cabin tucked in the woods surrounded by the National Park. We enjoyed hiking and sightseeing all day in the crowds and returning at night to a quiet place. I would highly recommend this cabin! Close enough to everything but still away from the crowds! Just perfect!
