Gallery 3 is in a meticulously restored century old building close to downtown and minutes from the subway (Metro), the Atwater Market and the historic Lachine Canal. An ideal home away from home for anyone that wants to be in one of the most dynamic villages in Montreal.

This 2 bedroom second floor unit is bright and sleeps 4 to 6. Finished with hardwood floors, it is spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated with original art, high quality furnishings, linens & appointments throughout. Lots of natural light, fans in every room and AC unit. It features a master bedroom with a queen size sleigh bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. The den has a sofa with a double pull out bed. Also in the den there is a flat screen TV and a collection of DVD’s from our library of over 100 movies for all ages. We also offer cable TV and high speed wifi internet available throughout the apartment.

The bathroom has a deep tub perfect to relax after a good day of sightseeing and is equipped with a front loading washer & dryer. The dining room is beside the all equipped kitchen with dishwasher that leads out to a nice deck with a patio sets and BBQ’s. The deck is next to a beautiful rooftop garden. All our units also come stocked with books and board games. Called the GALLERY 3 because this is 1 of 3 units in the building that is located next to our neighbour Jane private art gallery & studio.

Our other units in the same building are Gallery 1 (#211812) and Gallery 2 (#213798)

Good food is just steps away at the deluxe IGA grocery store or the delicious Atwater market where you can savour gourmet foods, pastries and deli style food. If you prefer to eat out, we are a few minutes walking from some of Montreal’s top restaurants (Joe Beef, Tuck Shop, H4C, Smoking Vallee, CHO, McKiernans, Magnans Tavern) or if you prefer a drink in a hip setting there is La Drinkerie, Burgundy Lion, Grumman 78, Ludger.

Aside from fine dining, there are many things to do in this area. Depending on the season, you could catch a famous Canadians hockey game at the Bell Center, go rock climbing at Allez-Up indoor rock climbing gym or rent a kayak and paddle on the Lachine Canal.

You can also walk or cycle on the Lachine Canal bike path which is just 15 minutes by bike to the Old Port and Old Montreal. Note that you can leave your bikes at home because we provide 4 adult bikes free of charge with helmet and locks based on a first come first serve system. Finally, for small children and family there is a nice park with playground and splash pad just one block away.

Great area, good restaurants and we are very close to the subway system (called Metro) downtown reachable in minutes just a couple of station away.

Very close to the Atwater market where there is great food and restaurants. We are also minutes from the Canal Lachine which has great bike paths and walking areas that lead to the Old Port of Montreal.

montreal get away

The Montreal apartment was great. Better than the pictures, and conveniently centrally located. We were two adults with two teenagers, and we spent four days in the apartment. The place was clean and spacious and was fully equipped for everything we needed for sleeping, cooking and entertaining. And the owner, John, was very helpful in getting us anything else we needed. We will definitely be returning our next trip to Montreal. We highly recommend staying here.

Great location and apartment

This is our second visit to this same property. It has all the essentials including a nice deck to sit out and enjoy a dinner or breakfast (which we did both). It's also close to the supermarket and the Atwater Market which I would highly recommend. There are also some very good well priced restaurants nearby. In addition, you are very close to the train station. It's a good deal for the price, I would definitely recommend it.

Conveniently located in St. Henri

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Atwater market is nearby as well as numerous restaurants, parks for the kids, and the Metro station. The apartment is well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and small appliances. There are games, books, and dvds in case the weather turns. During our stay it was ridiculously hot (35 C in the kids' room), and the person that manages this apartment was out of town, but thankfully Kieran, the cleaning person, had left his number and came to the rescue with a portable air conditioning window unit.

Owner's Response: Delay with installation of permanent AC units cause this situation. Portable AC was offered. Three new permanent AC are nkw installed and working.

Great location! Great accomodations!

The place is very clean, great kitchen and the balcony is an added bonus. The location is in the heart of an up and coming trendy neighborhood with many amazing restaurants to choose from, grocery stores nearby and the Atwater market within easy walking distance - and the canal and the metro! What more could you ask for?? I give this place a 10/10. My only caution would be that the stairs leading up to this walk up apartment are very steep and would not be good for a family with young children or anyone struggling with mobility issues.

Comfortable and Ideally Located

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gallery 3, which is located in the heart of St Henri and is extremely convenient to the Metro. The apartment was well stocked and comfortable. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck. We hope to come back for another stay as soon as possible, can't recommend it enough.
