This was perfect for two people. The duplex is a great place to stay in a house instead of the usual busy condominium complex. We didn't really have any problems with staying right next door to other guests. Sunflower 1 had all the needed necessities: new flat screen tv's in the living room and bedroom, plenty of linens, all kitchen necessities to cook breakfast, lunch, & dinner. You can see the beach perfectly from the deck and new adirondack chairs. I would recommend bringing all fishing equipment as there are no awl-marts within an hour from the island and any bait & tackle shops will try to charge an arm and a leg for equipment. Since there are only a few restaurants on the island, we cooked most of our meals. The little campground grill was perfect for what we needed. Covered parking was also great. My only recommendation would be for either new carpet or replacement laminate as this is a pet friendly condo and smells like one. Overall though, this was a great place to stay and my husband, me, and the dog had a great time!
We rented this unit for a long weekend and it was fine for that. It is small and quaint but could use some updating. The sofa is old and the pull out mattress has seen better days. We found a note saying "Flat Screen TV coming soon." Wish it had been there for our visit. There are 2 old, tube TV's. The management company keeps it very clean and it is centrally located on the island. The linens are nice and kitchen well equipped. It is hard to enjoy the ocean view, though, because the deck furniture consists of 2 adirondack type chairs which sit too low to see over the railing.
