Newly built, 3 bright rooms, patio, garden, garage. Ideal for families, quiet.

The apartment is located in the town of Füssen, at the foot of the Alps and a stone’s throw from Neuschwanstein Castle. All around are rolling green hills with a backdrop of towering mountains, lakes and sleepy villages. In summer it is a hiker’s paradise; in winter the ski slopes are just minutes away.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Füssen. The the historic old town is a mere 10 minutes’ walk away. In summer the first walking trail starts behind the house... winter you will find the cross-country tracks there. What’s more, the most popular sledding hill in town is right by the house. Two very good ski schools are a 10 minute car ride away. For experienced skiers you need 20 to 30 minutes to reach a dozen different ski slopes as well as a skiing are with 12 interconnected skilifts.

The property was completed in February 2013. All rooms have underfloor heating, while the windows are large and generous. The 63 sq m apartment can sleep 2 adults and 2 children in bunk beds. An aditional child’s bed is available on request.

The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher and oven.

The guests have access to the 150 sq m private garden with a 25 sq m patio with barbecue. The house has an underground parking garage and a bicycle storage space. Washing machine and dryer at your exclusive disposal can also be found in the basement.

The apartment has Wi-Fi and LAN Internet access in all rooms. Other amenities include an Internet-connected TV, a Blu-ray player, an audio system with CD player, iPod dock and Apple Airplay (for streaming music from your iPhone or iPad) and a Nintendo Wii console with games for the whole family.

About Klaus Geiger

We are Stéphanie and Klaus. Together with our sons Adrian (5) and Simon (3) as well as the cats Jackie and Chipie we are living in Berlin. Stéphanie is from the south of France, Klaus from Füssen. The newly built apartment is located right next to the home of Klaus' parents, whose family has been living for centuries in the region of Füssen. We are very pleased that via our apartment we have created a new connection to the Allgäu, which is the home of Klaus and which Stéphanie took to her heart immediately. And we look forward to welcome guests from across Europe and around the world in this extraordinally beautiful region.

New and bright apartment close to old town

The apartment is new and spacious with all modern conveniences supplied. It is walking distance to the old town with parking downstairs. A lot of information is supplied by the owner with Fussen cards supplied on arrival to allow discounts on various tourist attractions and transport. I would definitely recommend this property.

Outstanding Apartment

Everything was outstanding about our experience here from the accuracy of the description on the site to the comfort of the apartment itself. The owner was prompt and responsive in our initial correspondence and provided excellent timely directions on how to find and access the apartment - something that is often a frustrating puzzle. We knew exactly where to go and what to do!

The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. We prefer to use apartments when we travel and this one had absolutely everything we could have needed including modern appliances, tableware and a surprising number of spices and basic recipe requirements.

It's location is perfect! It really is only an easy 10 minute walk into town where there are numerous restaurants and shops including a fairly large grocery store. My husband and I stayed for 5 days and we found everything extremely comfortable. The owner's parents are just next door and although they don't speak much English they were welcoming and helpful. The building has parking in the basement which was so convenient.

They also provided us with a Fussen Card that provided free access to the local bus and discounts on tickets to the big castles.

We had a delightful stay and I highly recommend this perfect accomodation!

Great unit, great owners

My wife and I stayed here for a week with our two children. The building is newer and includes all the modern amenities. The underground parking and roll shutters are especially nice. Apartment is clean and centrally located. Owners were very helpful and accommodating with directions, local norms and general questions. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Vacation Rental

Perfect, lovely apartment for our holiday! Impeccably clean, bright, with a well-equipped kitchen and what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get and more.....cos there's a really nice view of the Alps in the distance from the windows! If you're coming to Fussen via train, buses from the train station will also take you to a bus stop about 30metres from the apartment building (do check against the bus schedule). The bus rides around town and to the usual tourist spots of Schloss Neuswanstein, Tegelberg and Wieskirche are free with the Fussen Guest Card which we received from the hosts for the duration of our stay. And a great plus are the hosts were extremely patient, helpful and attentive to our needs. We had mentioned to them about our concerns of the cold Fussen winter (We are Singaporeans so we're used to year-round temperatures of 30+ degrees celsius), so Klaus and Stephanie gave us tips on how to dress for the weather. And when we arrived on an afternoon of around -5 degrees celsius, we found the apartment nice and toasty because Klaus' mum Christine had left the floor heaters for us! We have nothing but compliments for the apartment and Klaus, Stephanie and Christine and would recommend it to all visitors :)

Wir kommen wieder!

Wir haben die schöne Fewo bereits zum zweiten Mal gemietet und waren wieder mehr als zufrieden. Ausstattung, Einrichtung, Sauberkeit, Lage und auch die Kommunikation mit Fam. Geiger lassen wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Beim nächsten Urlaub in Füssen fragen wir die Fewo sicher wieder an. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!
