This top floor condo is spacious with open beam ceilings and an ocean view. It is located in the center of Kailua Kona. You can walk to the pier, to restaurants, shopping, even the bank and the grocery store are nearby. The condo has two bedrooms with California King beds, and two full bathrooms. There is also a full size futon in the living room. You can cook your meals in the full kitchen, and eat on the sunny lanai looking at the ocean. Wifi is included as well as an in unit washer and dryer.

This unit is tucked back off the main street, so it is also quiet. Save the money and the hassle on the rental car and parking, and stay in this convenient location.

Notes:
Much more comfortable than a hotel, and a much better bargain as well. Free parking. This condo complex is mostly occupied by long term renters and owners with a few vacation rentals. It is a desirable location for all who want to be in Kona.

Three and a half would be my rating for the condo. The best thing about this condo was location!

Having two master suites with ensuites was a real plus! The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious with loads of closet space. However the overall condo and pool area are a bit dated and tired. Being on the third floor and further up the hill, we appreciated the coolness and breezes in the evening. The condo was within walking distance of Alli Drive where all the action and restaurants are located.

Erika was a wonderful, generous hostess and was a phone call away for any of our concerns. We very much enjoyed our stay in Erika's condo!

Clean, right in town

The condo was exactly as described and very close (walkable) to everything in Kona. Clean, well-equipped with everything we needed. The pool was nice and never crowded, and the other neighbors were friendly.

However (and this has zero to do with the way the owners run their rental, but a drawback nonetheless) the street noise from motorcycles was almost unbearable. I'd recommend earplugs if you are staying anywhere right in the main drag of Kona.

Spacious condo in a quiet, central location

The condo was perfect!

My husband and I enjoyed our one week vacation at Erika's condo. The pictures don't do the condo justice. It's spacious, with a big lanai/balcony. The air conditioner in the bedroom was a life saver for my husband. The internet was very fast compared with the other two condos we'd rented on the Big Island. The water pressure was good for the showers. There was a nice breeze with the windows open. The condo had everything we needed for a beach day. We used the folder chair and the snorkeling gear. There were also body surfing boards.

We could walk easily to the center of Kona and the Alii Road. There was a big shopping plaza very close by. Many restaurants, grocery shops, and little stores around.

Erika was very good replying our emails.

The condo was normally very quiet. The only exception was when the garbage trucks came in the early morning. But it didn't bother us because I was already awake, and my husband never heard it.

Perfect home away from home

Thank you, Erika!! This was such a perfect spot to stay with my husband, 19 month old baby, and parents. Everything that we needed was here, including a cooler, which Erika let us borrow for a few more days after our trip. We enjoyed the lanai so much. The kitchen was well stocked, there were beach towels, it was quiet and centrally located. We absolutely loved staying here, and would again if we were to return to Kona someday (I sure hope so!) Erika was wonderful to work with, and was easy to communicate with and promptly replied. Much Mahalo, Joslin

Oct 2016 Ironman stay

Erika was extremely efficient & helpful throughout our booking process & we had no issues or problems accessing our Condo once we arrived in Kona.

The Condo was very close to the ironman event headquarters and race proximity, as a competing athlete this made my pre-race week stress-free.

We had 3 adults stay at the condo and facilities and room was plenty.

Kitchen was great to prepare meals, all linen was fresh, The pool in the complex was handy for cooling off.

The location of the condo was close to shops, restaurants & supermarket for supplies.

The sofa in the living room isn't new & wasn't very comfortable this was our only negative.

This roomy condo is located in the heart of Kailua Kona. A two minute walk to the Ironman finish line, you can't stay in a more convenient location. Save money and forget about the rental car. Located on Kuakini Hwy, one street up from Alii drive, so it is nice and quiet yet in the center of Kailua Kona. Walk to the pier, restaurants, bars, shopping, the beach, the ocean, even the grocery store, post office and bank are within minutes.
