My wife and I rented this home for the month of August, using it as our base for hiking, biking, many of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays, and just plain relaxing. The three bedrooms made visits from our adult children and good friends a pleasure. The home: spotlessly clean, impressively quiet and safe neighborhood, comfortably appointed, LARGE backyard with multiple tables/chairs. Doug, the owner, checked in from time to time to make sure all was well, and responded immediately to any questions that we had, was delightful from beginning to end, and made both arrival and departure easy and hassle free.
The fully equipped kitchen probably came close to paying the rent in terms of not having to go out for breakfast lunch and dinner, so convenient (and so healthy!) to be able to prepare and store one's own food!
The home was 1.7 miles walking distance to the OSF theatre, sometimes we walked, sometimes not. Groceries (and Starbucks!) are minutes away.
This is an "everything works" home, tidy inside and out, and it more than met our expectations. If we go to Ashland next summer, this is where we will be hoping to stay!
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this well appointed house. Not only was everything immaculate, but the owner was over the top in making sure our stay was wonderful. Great location and exceptional patio for relaxing. When we head back to Ashland for next year's plays, we know where we are staying!
We spent a wonderful week in this home. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and located conveniently to explore all of southern Oregon. The owners successfully created a home away from home and our trip was enhanced because we were able to end and begin our days here. We appreciated the activities the owner suggested for our family. We are hoping to return again!
We had a great time staying in this house. It's a 5-minute drive from downtown Ashland, and it's in a cute little neighborhood in the hills above the University. We saw multiple deer every day of our trip, many strolling right by the house! It was a great stay and a very comfortable house. The back patio is a great place for an outdoor meal.
We stayed for five days and found the house and property very clean and comfortable with many thoughtful touches. The neighborhood was quiet and downtown Ashland is an easy drive.
