My wife and I moved to Puerto Rico in 1999 and I always wanted to visit Rincon and the western party of Puerto Rico
We stayed at Sandy Beach 4th floor condo last summer, and we loved staying there! The accommodations exceeded our expectations. I can not wait to stay there again.
The owners Jose ,Maritza and Lourdes were as a pleasure to work with, there was not one single detail missing to inconvenience us, and the ability to experience Rincon They have done a fabulous job in providing a first rate place to stay and enjoy Rincon .
The condo was in a great location with breath taking views from the balcony. The beach was right next to the condo and was pristine and spectacular
If you want to really experience the western part of the island, stay at the Sandy Beach Condo in Rincon you will not be disappointed.
Maritza's Sandy Beach property is the ultimate chill spot in Rincon. This is our fourth visit to Rincon and this apartment is by far in the best location. The property was clean and well furnished. A few maintenance issues need to be taken care of, but other than that we still enjoyed our stay. Without a doubt, we will return next year.
The condo is perched above Sandy Beach so there is a nice view of the Atlantic Ocean, surfers and beachgoers. Our recent visit was greeted by great weather, so the waves didn't overtake the beach, which happens on occasion. The condo itself was generally in good shape, with a new microwave oven gracing the appliances in the kitchen since my previous visit. Sitting on the balcony was a great way to enjoy the views and the balmy breezes. Property manager Elier met us promptly upon our arrival and gave us a review of new security arrangements including the need to wear green bands on the wrists to prove that we belonged to the condo building and weren't posing a risk to others. This seemed like an excessive step given that the doors to the building are now constantly locked and access to the beach requires a FOB. Moreover, I noticed no one at the building actually wearing bands, which wouldn't last long in the ocean and pose problems when inviting guests. I suggest that this procedure be discarded as an unenforceable extreme that is very off-putting. While the condo was really in good shape, I do have some nitpicks: first, the elevator was being "repaired" and did not work the entire six days we were there. Since we had used the condo before, we were expecting the elevator to work as my wife sometimes has trouble going up and down stairs. At least some advance warning would have been welcomed. Second, there was a window that was inoperable in the main room and left partly open while "waiting for a part to fix it." While the entry of bugs such as mosquitoes wasn't generally a problem, we did have to keep the blind closed the entire time. Third, the lights in the bathrooms are very weak and given the dark walls make it hard to see what one is doing - such as noting wet slip hazards on the ceramic floors. Stronger bulbs or new fixtures are needed. Fourth, there is no outlet in the master bedroom near the bed that is easily accessible. This means that there is no way to charge cell phones overnight and keep them handy to check the time (no clocks other than on kitchen appliances). There is also a small light on a bedstand that isn't plugged in. There is an outlet behind the bed's headboard - I suggest plugging in an extension cord so that USB chargers and the light can be made functional. These are just nitpick suggestions to an otherwise very accommodating condo that I am sure I will use again..
Nice place, the best part is the location. Sits on the south end of Sandy Beach break, 1 min north is parking lots break, a short walk south is Pools break, 5 min drive from Maria's break and 20 min from breaks in Aguadilla. I would come back to this place for sure. Ideal for 4 people.
Marizta´s House was perfect!
The apartment is literally on the beach, you can just walk there.
The ocean front is spectacular and the area is really calm, with restaurants around. It is recommended to have a car to explore towns nearby.
The apartment was super clean and cozy and we would definetly come back again for sure. We recommend this place to Stay in Rincon and have a great time!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Beach. The apartment is in great shape. The beach was private and beautiful. The pool was very small but beautiful and with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Unfortunately, we lost electricity one of the nights and the power plant was down. Otherwise, the stay was amazing! I would certainly consider staying again.
