|Minimum Stay||1 - 2 nights|
Romantic penthouse on top of secessian building, in Boskoviceva street 7, in the center of Zagreb, just a 3 minutes walk from the central Ban Jelacic Square. It is in the 3rd floor, with a nice terrace. The apartment is oriented to the back side of the building, so there is no noise form the street.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The newly renovated bathroom has a washing machine, hair dryer and iron. Towels and sheets are also included. Air condition, WLAN internet and SAT TV are free.
Nice apartment - 10 minutes walk to the shopping/restaurant area. Apt itself was comfy and nice and owner was very flexible on check in time.
We needed a condo to stay in Zagreb for two nights after arriving from Canada. It was just what we were looking for, close to the restaurants and markets in the heart of town. The owner met us at the door, was very nice, and gave us great information on what to do and where to go. The owner also gave us information on our next stay in Rovinj. The entrance way and stair case needs some repairs and paint but the condo unit it self was clean and bright. And the price was right for us.
We initially planned to stay at Veni Vidi apt for two nights. After I booked the apt, our plan had changed. So I contacted Igor, he allowed us to stay just one night (I believe his apt requires two nights minimum). The day before our arrival, I contacted him to ask about the parking situation. Upon arrival, he provided us with a parking ticket which allowed us to park in an underground garage just around the corner. It was extremely helpful. The apt was very clean and in a great location. Minutes away from the old town. We really wished that we could stay longer. Just a note, the apt is on the top floor without elevators. Old building but with lots of characters. It was very nice of Igor to help us to bring the luggage up. Thank you, Igor!
We had a very enjoyable stay at this top-floor apartment in an old building in the centre of Zagreb. Do not be put off by the gloomy entrance hall to the building, which has offices on the lower floors, or by the 106 steps to the apartment! When you arrive, you will find a light, spacious, spotlessly-clean and well-designed apartment with modern fittings and furniture, well-glazed windows and as much equipment as you will need for a short stay in Zagreb. The spire of the city cathedral, which is only a block away, can be seen from the window of the living area. There is a bakery just round the corner, supermarkets only a couple of streets away, and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Although Zagreb is on two levels, connected by a short funicular (or a long flight of steps), it is a compact city and all the sights are within walking distance. The railway station too is only a 10-minute level walk along a wide avenue. Mr Igor Kump, the owner, answered our queries beforehand very promptly and we were met at the apartment by Danijela, who was very helpful, friendly and professional. We recommend the team and their apartment wholeheartedly.
Very nice host ! The flat is good designed and very modern with all facilities , Ultra clean and situated in central area. Near restaurants , bars pubs and nice parkes . Thank you
I love it when a home away stay exceeds expectations. First, the apartment was spotless. Clean comfortable bed, nice futon type couch, modern bathroom and kitchen with everything needed for a 5 day stay in Zagreb. Excellent WiFi. I really liked the balcony. It's about 8'x20' with a roof so we enjoyed it even when it was raining. View to the back of the building so it's pretty quiet. We did not get much street noise at all in this apartment. Easy sleeping. I really liked being on the top floor of the building. No elevator but it's really not an issue for us as we travel pretty light. We were delayed a few hours out of Budapest on our way to Zagreb. Without a phone We found a gas station with WiFi and the pay phone was broken. We were hoping that he got the message and could meet us later. I emailed Igor to let him know we were going to be late and set a different time. He responded instantly and eased our fear of making him have to wait three hours or us being a no show. We arranged a new time and met Danille (not sure if I spelled correctly) who was at the apartment, walked us through everything, gave us a few recommendations for sights and areas and restaurants. She's great! I hope you get to meet her. The location is perfect for exploring the city, the apartment is as advertised and Igor and Danielle went above and beyond.
