Pretty restored half-timbered house with lots of space in a hilly hiking area.
The old house, built in 1913, was originally intended as a venue for the inhabitants of Monschau. Later it was used as a gym. Taking into account the original elements - - after it has been empty for over 10 years, the building was completely renovated (completed mid September 2013).
In the right building (with 'bat Chapel') come with a private entrance into the hall of 14m², where you can take a staircase to the first floor. On the first floor you enter the spacious open plan kitchen which is fully equipped to cook for a group. On this floor there is also the living room of 30m² with sitting area, flat screen TV and a large dining table for 20 people. On the same floor in the hall, a separate guest toilet for sharing. From the kitchen and the living room has views of the subjacent space of over 170m², where different workshops can be organized. About a second staircase leads to the upper floor, where a total of six bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms each Einzelboxspringbetten three, four bedrooms each have two Einzelboxspringbetten and stand on the open sleeping loft also two Einzelboxspringbetten. All three bathrooms have toilet, vanity and walk-in shower.
The terrace is sheltered behind the building and is 60m2 plus minus. The terrace is not used by other guests.
Overall Villa Rur is therefore worth a visit: besides magnificent hotel beds, enough space and luxury, the perfect location, your stay can be made more personal. There are various workshops. If you are having more than 16 people, may be rented for four plus for 6 people additionally an apartment.
Just outside the door run various hiking trails, can be reached at the same time in less than two minutes the center of Monschau, with all its shops, restaurants and attractions.
