Our first visit to Jekyll was 29 years ago on our honeymoon. We have returned many years since with our families. This year we are empty nesters and only needed a small cozy one bedroom, we found Dollyanna and it was PERFECT!! Very clean, updated and cozy for 2! My husband likes to cook and his only complaint was there was not a lot of cupboard space to store food. We would definitely return to this unit again. THANKS BETTY!
My husband and I had a wonderful time! Thank you Betty for being so wonderful! The one bedroom was so clean and cozy! The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and so close to the beach. We will come back next year for sure!
We would like to thank Betty Lukity for her hospitality. We enjoyed our stay at Dollyanna, it was nice to feel like a resident instead of a tourist. It was the perfect location to walk to the beach and travel to St. Mary's to explore Cumberland Island. Betty gave great local advice for where to eat and also where to buy shrimp. The best places she recommended that we enjoyed were The Driftwood Bistro at The Villas to eat dinner and City Market in Brunswick to buy shrimp. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

We've camped on Jekyll for many years.....were a little shy about where to stay other than the campground. No worries....staying at the Dollyanna felt like being a true resident of the Island.
The apartment is perfect for two and has every amenity. The location is private and Betty is
a thoughtful hostess. She went above and beyond and even mailed to us a left-behind article of clothing.
This is an embarrassingly late review! My husband John and I were actually the very first renters of the Dollyanna, a few years ago. We spent a relaxing, comfortable month there as the tenants of the charming owner. We've stayed in everthing from motels, apartments, houses and the campground, but never did we feel such a true Jekyll experience as in the Dollyanna. I did not realize that I had neglected to send in a review until this afternoon while checking the site for future reference. Book with confidence. Both the house and the owner will exceed your expectations. It did ours. Thanks for a memorable time Mrs. L., and sorry for the delay!
My apologies for posting so late...a very busy summer. But the passing of time has not diminished my enthusiasm for this place and it's owner/property mananger! Betty is a great gal and Arlene is a gem! Thank you both for making my extended stay there part of an awesome experience. Thank you for putting up with my crazy volunteer schedule. It is clear that you ladies have a passion for keeping the island a bona fide state park and retaining the natural beauty of the place as much as possible.
