Private Lanai with lots of seating area and 2 lounge chairs, with a gorgeous garden and partial ocean view. Very quiet, away from any road noise. Full-size BBQ. A dream come true!

Just bring your clothes and prepare to enjoy 'aloha'. There's lots of beach towels, some snorkeling gear, beach toys, etc. The beautiful Pool area has a clubhouse with viewing tower, outdoor lounge area and a covered eating area complete with fridge, several tables, washrooms, and covered Library area. Great Privacy/Silence Wall separates it from living area. Can also be set up as Two Twin beds. This guest room is totally private with it's own a/c controls. It has 3 pc. bath beside it. The Master Bedroom can accommodate a Baby Crib(1) . (1) Portable crib and (1)booster chair for infants and small children up to 4 yrs.of age is provided free. (2) Two Deluxe Sofa Sleeper Beds Q size with 6' length. Both mattresses are Stylish and Comfortable.

Perfect family vacation condo!

This was an ideal location and condo set up for our family of four with teen/tween children! We loved the Lanai, the pool, and the amazing location. The condo was large and open concept, so we felt comfortable, without feeling crowded. We are fair skinned so, sadly there were bad sunburns to suffer indoors for a couple of days, but thankfully the condo was equipped with a huge TV, and lots of channels and DVDs to keep us entertained, as well as wifi for all our devices. The shops at Wailea and Kihei are close by for shave ice and whatever else you "need"! All the beach equipment was awesome, and made our daily beach trips ideal. We didn't use the air conditioner, because with windows and that beautiful Maui breeze, we just needed the overhead fans on really hot nights. I would go back to The Palms in a heartbeat, and Lynda was a great host, with quick response to emails and all the info provided in the condo itself.

On day two, my husband said, "I wonder if they have some kind of frequent visitors program we can sign up for?" It was our first visit, but I certainly hope not our last!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely Review. I always try to accommodate any needs that I think my guests might need. I appreciate hearing that you had a wonderful vacation and I too hope you will come back again soon. I often reduce the room rate by 10% if the guests return and stay at least a week. I have many returning guests and I feel like we work together as 'at team' to keep my condo in good order and leave their holiday toys behind for incoming guests. My family and I replace items in my condo that need to be replaced every time I go to my condo too! I hope you'll come back to the Paradise Island of Maui again!

Love The Palms, unit needs some TLC

Lovely location with many nice personal touches and abundance of toys. We love these units at The Palms. The unit could do with a purge of items left behind and by owner. More room would be available for guest's need in closets and particularly the kitchen. Drawers need cleaning out and cupboard sorting as all very cluttered and items mixed up. Not sure the age of some of the staple items left behind. Paper towels and some dishwashing soap would nice standard items to have instead of having to purchase more than we could ever use. The TV was very complicated and remote is not working properly. We expected an ipod dock in order to play music as we missed our music.

We never used the air conditioning yet were charge $25.U.S. per day. Bed linens need replacing as they feel very well used. Once we found out previous guests wash the bed linens we were not feeling comfortable. We felt the cleaning charge was high, especially when we were asked to wash and make the beds ourselves before we departed (as per sign on the wall).

We never found placemats for indoors, the outdoor table mats live outdoors and likely need cleaning. King master bed is very bouncy, unusual for King beds these days.

Owner's Response: Well, sorry you were a bit disappointed. For an entire year I haven't had a guest complaint until yours. I did try to resolve any issues you had over the phone and by email. I can't reduce the high cost of electricity and cleaning services as they're out of my control. Cleaning services have risen from $175 a clean to -nywhere between $220 and $275 per tenant, depending on whatever is left to organize & clean each and every time. There was an ipod dock but it only fit the Apple5 so I removed it. Many guests have their own portable system that fits their device. There are countless music channels on the TV that can easily be heard throughout the condo and outdoor deck. Our family visits the condo twice a year and all beddings are replaced with new ones each time. This isn't like a hotel in Wailea that would have daily maid service, with a rental price tag of $200/nt for 1 room and no kitchen. We do our best to provide a wonderful holiday condo with lots of extras, and I receive many compliments and thanks from many guests. Sorry if I couldn't satisfy you. In all honesty, I have never had these complaints that you've mentioned before, not recently.

We had an incredible vacation and truly enjoyed this property as our home base. It literally has everything you need, was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again in our next trip to Maui. Mahalo!

2 weeks in Paradise

Our stay at the Palms was fantastic. The condo was like being at home, it was comfortable, spacious and the best way I could think to spent time spend time in the sun. We enjoyed the ability to cook our owns meals. All the immunities were first class. The pool was an a great way to cool off or spent time sun tanning. The Facility is well maintained, and the staff is first rate. I love to go back to the Condo.

Excellent in all ways

Everything was great! Very accessible location (walking distance to main shopping areas and lovely beaches) and still with privacy and comfort of a home. Lynda was very helpful and we had a great stay at her condo.

Please leave condo as clean as you can, as it is a great help for the housekeepers. Linens are to be washed (and some dried) before you depart.
