Hilton Head Island is a unique vacation experience. The Island has been developed with strict zoning and codes intended to protect this unique environmental setting.
Our condo is located on the best beach on the island at Port Royal Sound. Our guests have access to 10 miles of pristine beach and are just 200 yards from the water's edge. Guests have only a short five minute walk to the beach with with no wide, busy streets to cross. They simply walk down a residential lane amid beach cottages. We are located on the island's 32 mile bike trail and inexpensive, convenient bike rentals are only a phone call away.
Our rental home is meticulously maintained by an on-site manager. It has been remodeled in the past year to include all new appliances, large screen, LED TV's (42 & 32 inch) and premium cable service with two DVR's and expanded sports and movie tiers. True in home high speed internet and free long distance calling in U.S. (Ex. Alaska & Hawaii ).
The on site tennis, racquetball courts and club house work out room are complimentary during your stay. Our rentals are primarily by the week from April to October but we can rent for a minimum of three nights with our schedule permitting. Restaurants, movie theaters and miniature golf are less than one mile away with easy biking or walking access.
We bought it when we lived in Cincinnati and I worked for Procter & Gamble. It was a one day drive (when I was a lot younger)!
Best beaches we found are nearby.
Peaceful, quiet, family oriented resort. Less than five minute walk to one of the biggest and best beaches on the East coast.
My family had a great time staying at this place. It was very clean, had fast Internet, and two flat screen televisions with premium channels. A beach cart with umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards were provided. It seemed like the entire complex was in the shade which is great for late August. The large pool was cooler than the smaller pool and we spent most of our time there. We did try the smaller pool when the complex scheduled volleyball. It was a lot of fun. The beach was only a few blocks from the complex and it was an enjoyable walk.
We rented bikes for the week and had a great time riding at night. We biked to Hilton Head Ice Cream one night and went exploring closer to Fiddler's Cove other nights. We also rented Waverunners at Island Watersports. Our favorite restaurants were Marley's Grill, Michael Anthony's, The Crazy Crab, and the Frosty Frog. This was our second vacation at Hilton Head.
The only negative parts were that the beach had a lot of jellyfish. I was stung in both feet. It was the first time I was stung. The pain wasn't that bad. We also had to get out of the ocean twice because of sharks. When we were in the ocean, it was beautiful. Unfortunately, we weren't in the ocean that much. My wife thought the condo needed some updating. I didn't mind.
We had a great time on Hilton Head Island again this year. Condo is always clean and well stocked with amenities for the week. Very close to the beach, pools and tennis courts. We will be back again next year.
The listing of the property and conditions were accurate. The beach chairs and wagon to carry stuff to the beach was an extra bonus. We enjoyed our family time at the beach and the pool everyday. The information provided by the owners (including the binder w/ WiFi, TV info etc) was very helpful. Tom and Pat communicated with us on time and were very helpful w/ answering our questions. We would definitely return and recommend this property to others.
The condo was very nice. It was very convenient to the beach and pool. quiet location.
We have been coming down to Hilton Head in March for many years now and can't remember a year when the weather was this warm and dry ... it was perfect. We really enjoyed our daily routine of tennis matches and hanging out at the pool and hot tub. Fiddler's Cove has a lot of amenities and very friendly people. We found everything in your unit clean and in good working order (including very comfortable beds and sofas). The only minor challenge was unjamming the lower oven drawer to get at your extensive collection of pots ... and we could have used a little less noise from the leaf blower man ;-). But in all seriousness, we have no complaints and thought it was a great value (we give you 5 stars for that). Thank you for providing us a home away from home and a wonderful holiday. We would certainly recommend your unit to others.
This was our second time at Fiddlers Cove and first time in this unit. The kitchen was a little outdated but overall is was a very comfortable and cozy unit. I loved that it was close to the tennis court and pool! The owners leave a binder full of information about everything you need to know to enjoy your stay. My husband and I loved it and would definitely stay here again!
The property is mid island, and centrally located; easily accessible to all attractions on the island
