Four bedroom luxury town home on Whistler Mountain perched high above Whistler Creekside village, the home of the 2010 Olympic downhill races. Vaulted ceilings framed by double story cedar logs and large windows let you enjoy the incredible mountain and lake views; a true mountainside retreat. Have dinner in the separate dining room and then relax in the living room curled up on the comfy sofas while enjoying a glass of wine next to the wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the luxury of granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms and the hide away private hot tub on it’s own deck. Enjoy the out door swimming pool in the summer available just for the 45 Taluswood homes. The Ski in/ Ski out access is available with a short walk and most suitable for intermediate and higher skiers.

Why John Harris chose Whistler

In the summer enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and in the ski season enjoy the ski in/ out access. Access to the ski out you will walk on a quiet road from the house for about 500 feet. From there you ski down to Creekside Gondola and you will ride up to the top of Whistler mountain (the skiers mountain). Creekside gondola is the quietest of all the lifts going up the mountain and from the top you can access the Peak 2 Peak to go over to Blackcomb mountain. Skiing back you will be on a trail going directly into the complex just a few homes away. Creekside village (with free parking) is about a 2 minute drive away and has a very good grocery store as well as the other great stores such as Starbucks coffee; the main village is a 5 minutes drive away.

Great location, beautiful cabin

Overall great experience! The ski in/out is about 100 yards away for either! Great hot tub, comfy beds. The place was a little chilly but the fireplace helped cozy it up. Property management office in the village was great. Big thanks to the owner!

Christmas stay

We stayed here with a group of 8 adults and 2 children and the living space of the condo was beautiful, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and the wood fire was perfect after a long day snowboarding. The downstairs bedrooms were smaller then we had initially expected but the master suite upstairs was excellent. We ski'd in one day but found it easier to just drive to either whistler village or the gondola and go up from there rather then walk out. Overall had an awesome stay!

Great place, beautiful views, close to the main village

We stayed at this property for a week in July with another family, 8 people total. Plenty of room. Easy drive to the main Whistler village. I didn't realize that this property was a condo that had another unit next to it in the same structure. It didn't end up being an issue, but something to consider because if your group is too loud it could be an issue. Excellent views of snow capped mountains from the back deck. 1 garage and ample parking for at least 2 cars.

Average townhouse in a great location

We truly enjoyed our stay here and had a wonderful vacation. Ski-In/Ski-Out was a real treat. The owner was quick to respond to emails, courteous, and the booking process was easy. That said, we have some comments/recommendations for future renters. The garage is very small. We could not fit our large SUV inside. The kitchen was sparsely equipped with limited utensils (no spatula, measuring spoons, etc.). The Audio/Visual setup was antiquated: there was no Bu-ray player in the house, no MP3/iPod connections, and most of the home audio system was not functional (no speakers for the hot tub or upper deck and the master bedroom zone didn’t work). The Internet worked well and was fast. The hot tub was a nice treat after each day of skiing and snowshoeing. We have rented many other luxury homes and felt the price was high compared to the value we received. In 2005, this would have been a great place, it could be updated.

Perfect getaway!

You will love your stay here in Whistler! The master bedroom upstairs is amazing- heated bathroom floors!! The other rooms are all on the bottom floor and are nice as well. We were not accomplished enough skiers to take advantage of the ski in and ski out amenity, but the drive to the lift was quick and easy. And the parking lot was pretty close to the whistler lifts. We ended up wearing our snow boots from the car to the lockers by the lifts and then putting on our ski boots because the walk to the car is just long enough that your ski boots are hurting! Also, don't forget to try the Beaver Tails- a delicious treat in the Whistler village!!!

Nice ski in/out

Stayed here late February 2016. Well equipped and spacious for 8 adults. The hot tub and wood burning fireplace were highlights. The ski in/out was a bit icy the last day of our stay but manageable for intermediate skiers.

Would recommend a rental vehicle for convenience to get groceries, etc.

Will consider again in the future.

Car: recommended

Whistler and Blackcomb mountains voted No1 ski hills in North America over the years. Skiing at it’s best or some fun hiking or mountain biking in the summer months.
