My husband Mike and I moved to Victoria in 1994 and fell in love with this beautiful city. After seeing all the tourists enjoying our Capital of BC, we thought it would be fun meeting people from all over the world. We were looking for a suitable place and came across this house with 5 selfcontained suites. We thought if people stay awhile they might like to have a place with a kitchen and separate bedroom. And we were right.
Mike and Arne Killins purchased this apartment in 1997
Location. Location. Situated 2 doors of the ocean and the ocean causeway, leading to Beacon Hill Park one way and cruise ship terminal, Fishermans Wharf and downtown the other way. A short stroll strait down Menzies takes you downtown in 10 min. One block away is a shopping plaza where you find supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
Having a home away from home in the heart of Victoria.
Stayed July2010. There was 5 sisters and we had plenty of room. We were provided a single mattress when sister No 5 decided to come last minute. Very well equiped. We did not spend alot of time here but it was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the city. Grocery store, drug store and restaurants are just a block away. Great food at Heron Rock Bistro. Enjoyed watching the horse and buggies go by during the evenings. Ocean is only 1/2 block away. Walking path along the ocean front. Really enjoyed our stay and Mike was never far away if we needed something.
