About Tara

I was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains, my family has been in the ski business for over forty years and within the past few we have expanded into paintball and fishing. I enjoy traveling and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Why Tara chose Tannersville

This was my family home! The house was too large for me or any of my siblings to live in so I decided to rent it as a vacation rental and now have many repeat renters that I consider family!

Quaint and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

This home is exactly as pictured. Although the home is huge, it is cozy enough to feel like home. We were pleased with our stay. The home has every amenity that you could think of and more. We would definitely return.

Perfect Space for Perfect Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I just had our immediate families and friends get together at this house for the weekend to celebrate our recent engagement and we truly had a blast! Family members kept asking where I found this place because they loved the house and property so much. Most of the compliments came from the peacefulness that it had to offer. My little cousin caught 2 large fish in the trout ponds in the back and was so excited.

Tara, the owner, was so thoughtful and a true pleasure to work with. I texted her with any and all questions and her replies were helpful and fast. She really did everything she could to ensure that we had the weekend of our dreams! If you are looking for a place to unwind and celebrate family, look no further because this was truly perfect! Thank you again!!

Great Space for Indoor and Outdoor Festivities

  • 5 of 5

This house was amazing for our large group to hang out both inside and outside. The back porch and lawn were perfect for grilling and playing lawn games. Then at night, there was more than enough space in the great room for our entire group to hang out comfortably.

Great Vacation Home

  • 4 of 5

The house is big and clean. The only thing that needs is an additional bathroom in the basement. The pond needs to be cleaned. The roof needs to get checked because while we were sitting outside, a white metal piece fell on my arm and scratched me. I left the piece next to the BBQ Grill outside. Other than this I love this house and rent every year.

It was awesome!

  • 5 of 5

The house was great, just like the pictures. We had plenty of room with everyone there. At one point we had 16 for dinner and did not feel crowded int he least. The pond in back was a big hit with the kids. It was close to everything and we went wine tasting, zip lining, hiking, etc. It was really fun! Can't wait to get back there. Tara was a joy to work with. She was always available and was very helpful with information and our many questions.

Breathtaking

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented the property to hold our rehearsal dinner and wedding of 26 people. The home and surroundings were perfect. My family and friends were able to stay just up the road at Camelback, and the property provided a wonderful backdrop for my wedding photos. I'll always have fond memories of the home. The owners were accommodating and easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend staying at this hidden gem.
