About Robert Klumpp

My partners and I decided we would purchase a home and furnish it just for folks coming to vacation in Albuquerque. (That home is VRBO listing # 134421.) We had such a good response that we have since purchased two other homes in the same town house community (this one and listing # 164209). New Mexico is such a great place to live that we were excited to share to others.

Thanks for checking out our properties!

Robert Klumpp purchased this townhome in 2008

Why Robert Klumpp chose Albuquerque

We had a demanding list of requirements:

- We wanted a home that was convenient to some of the best that Albuquerque has to offer. Great restaurants, shops and museums.

- The home had to be convenient to get to (close to the Interstate).

- The home had to be in a friendly neighborhood that was quiet and safe.

- The floor plan had to provide easy access and sufficient privacy.

The Pueblo del Norte town house community perfectly filled all these requirements.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our family of ten enjoyed living in an ABQ Vacations condo the first week of July, 2012, and had a great time together. Kudos to Robert for all that he did to help us plan and make reservations, as well as consultation assistance during our stay. His genial spirit, knowledge, and care certainly helped us have a happy, fulfilling week.

The condo location, easy walking blocks from Old Town, also contributed to our ease of travel and variety of good times. Several attractions, shops, and restaurants were all easily accessible.

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, as well as the downtown terminal for a ride the RailRunner to Santa Fe, were within easy driving distance and time from our ABQ Vacations location. The Sandia Peak Tram is about 45 minutes away.

The condo being well-equipped with excellent quality furnishings and equipment also enabled us to care for everyday needs, whether washing dishes or clothes, without worry or delay.

Our family of ten included 7, 9, 14, and 18 year olds, as well as their adult parents and us two grandparents. Any one of us would be happy to recommend ABQ Vacations! Thanks, again, Robert.

Great location and plenty of room for 8

  • 4 of 5

The townhouse was in a great location, walking distance to Old Town and for food and souvenir shopping. We were in town for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised when we realized we were within walking distance to some of the scheduled pre-wedding activities. The check-in was clearly explained and went smoothly. This is an older unit with not much upgrades but it was well taken care of and priced reasonably with plenty of room for the 8 of us to gather as a family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would stay here again if we were to visit ABQ with the family.

Great place to stay in Albuquerque

  • 5 of 5

My family enjoyed staying in this quiet house, only an 8 minute walk from the historic Old Town. The bedrooms were perfect, as we had four kids (ages 10 to 19), so the two rooms with twin beds was perfect. The living room was great for all seven of us to sit around and catch up. My only suggestion (and this is completely minor and more for convenience) would be to get a Keurig coffee maker. One of us (me!) can only drink decaf, so I'd have to make a small pot of coffee before everyone else could make their pot of regular. Completely minor, I know, but it would have made our mornings a little smoother. Other than that, the house was great! Thanks!

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

We were in ABQ for a family trip. The condo is in a great location! We walked to Old Town, the Botanical Gardens and great restaurants. When we were ready to get on the road, it was right near the freeway. The Bosque Trail is nearby if you want to get a run or bike ride in.

There were five of us and so the size was perfect for us. We even had one bed to spare. The owner responded to us promptly (stuck slider and a departure request). The condo is well appointed and stocked with everything you need to eat in if desired. The is a garage too.

Met all our needs

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here in Albuquerque. Robert's condo was comfortable, homey and very convenient to the Old Town area. We had plenty of room for our group of friends as well as our dog. We also had plenty of room to host a dinner for our daughter's group of cross-country bicycle riders (15 in all) from Ohio State U.'s medical school---it was a lovely evening, so we could make good use of the patio. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to town---didn't see nearly everything we wanted to see!.
