Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

Spending the last 10 summers here has been worth every penny. The cabin is very spacious and easily accommodates 20-30 people. The cabin is located on the enchanted circle ( AngelFire, Taos, Questa and Red River) and there are many day hikes and day trips right around the corner. The location is perfect, the views are stunning and the amenities in the house are beyond what you can imagine.

Serene and Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

This is our 8th summer trip to this property, and we have simply fallen in love with it more each time we go. The views from the deck are simply spectacular, and vary in their beauty from morning until night. Everything about the interior speaks comfort and convenience, from the location of the bedrooms, the spacious kitchens, the privacy of the bathrooms, the comfort and spaciousness (not to mention the spectacular views) from the living areas. The media room offers a wonderful place to gather for a family movie. We found plenty to do in the surrounding area; the property is located near fun for all ages, and the chipmunks, hummingbirds and many other varieties of birds, deer, occasional elk and even a rare bobcat offer a rare connection with Nature. Our family dinners on the porch in the evening were always a highlight--the breath-taking view of the mountains and the beautiful Moreno Valley nestled beneath them as the sun goes down in the cool of the evening will be a memory in our family for many years to come.

Great family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a large family gathering before Christmas with 30 people. The youngest was one year old and oldest was in mid 50s. Many of the group skied while others enjoyed staying at the house looking at the magnificant views. It had plenty of room for everyone. The ski-in, ski-out aspect of this house is great. Everyone had a great time and the house had everything we needed. One item to note is that a 4 WD or AWD is needed in the winter.

High in the sky!

Mountains every where you look! Beautiful sunset every night, the view are truly majestic! We had a large family reunion, there was plenty of space for all of us. The house had everything we needed for our stay, even has a large media room, so don't forget your favorite movies. Mountain biking, hiking and fishing are all close by. And wildlife right our the door! Highly recommend and can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful summer stay!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed here five different summers with family and think it is the perfect place to get away and relax and enjoy the New Mexico mountains. The cabin is large and roomy with a very nice layout. The main kitchen is open and accessible to all as well as to a main porch which overlooks the beautiful valley below. We love the many bedrooms and bathrooms which allow for privacy for each couple/family, while allowing us time to be together and enjoy family time as well. We do lots of birding from the porches and in the area and recommend it highly for bird lovers! There are so many great things to do in the area--hikes, zip lines, jeeps, Vietnam memorial, and all the lures of Taos as well -- it couldn't really be much better! We love the fact that the cabin is secluded, affording lots of privacy. The porches are a huge plus for us because we love the views, the birds, and the family time there! A great place to go!

We have nothing but positive experiences with the maintenance and cleanliness of the property or with the responsiveness of the caretakers and owners. Everything has always been excellent. We do a lot of cooking at the cabin itself and appreciate the availability of cookware, dishes, etc., enough to serve a large group. We have enjoyed the theater room greatly over the years and always bring a good selection of DVD's!

We recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful spot for a vacation.

Beautiful, mountainside property in Angel Fire, NM

  • 5 of 5

It is hard to decide whether this property was more enjoyable for its exterior porches and views or for its spacious, comfortable, and generous interior accommodations. We enjoyed our dinners on the spacious main porch every evening, comfortably hosting our large family and thoroughly enjoying sunsets, the spectacular view of the Moreno Valley and majestic Wheeler Peak. What a respite from the cramped, excessively hot concrete jungles of our urban lives! The interior was equally enjoyable with the large kitchen and family room which centered both around the large dining table and the enormous, new sectional couch which faced the two large picture windows. Sleeping and bath accommodations were also more than ample as we had the privacy we needed without feeling cut off from the others in the house. And the theater room was a perfect place to gather at the end of a long day, following a dinner on the porch, for a movie all could enjoy. Our stay was revitalizing and thoroughly enjoyable, and helped us forge memories we will not soon forget. What a blessing others ought to experience!
