We've stayed here before. We love the apartment and the location and will book again for next year.
Michaela was very friendly and happily met us at the apartment early to fit in with our plans with lots of information for us. She thoughtfully provided some drinks and there was everything we could possibly need in the apartment eg an umbrella, shopping bag, apron and we made good use of the washing machine and iron after a few weeks of travelling. The apartment was so much more spacious than it looked in the photos and well located to walk all around the old town. The metro and trams are right across the road. Thank you Michaela for a great place to stay in Nuremberg.
Our whole experience of staying at this apartment has been brilliant. Excellent communication from the first enquiry to arriving. The apartment is perfectly located to easily explore on foot or by public transport (just across the street). Everything you could need is provided, the apartment is very clean and comfortable with plenty of space and great views. We were met by a lovely and helpful lady who gave any info we needed. We really enjoyed our trip and are hoping to return, as a week was just not long enough to see and do everything we wanted! Thank you ☺
What a great condo in the heart of Nuernberg! Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The condo is right by the U-Bahn and within a few minutes from downtown Nuernberg. It's the perfect location!
Communications with Mrs. Hoerberger was flawless from the day we booked until we departed. She welcomed our family with fresh flowers, fruit, and lots of helpful information. Our stay could not have been any better. If you are considering a stay in Nuernberg, we can highly recommend this beautiful condo!
The apartment is spacious, very clean and immaculately decorated and fitted out. There is every convenience provided. It is very centrally located and most of the city can be reached on foot. There is a lively and interesting street scene but the accommodation is very quiet. Our host Michaela, was lovely and very warm and welcoming. The city is underrated, very attractive and interesting, with much to see and do. The apartment is at the top of the building so no neighbours above and the excellent views are well worth the climb . My family and I stayed in the two bedroom apartment over the Christmas holidays. Our stay was nothing short of magical. I had asked Michaela at the time of booking (nearly a year in advance) if it would be possible to have a Christmas tree in the apartment since we would be there on Christmas - she provided the cutest tree complete with decorations and lights. My girls were overjoyed! Michaela and I emailed several times regarding questions I had about location, parking, check in. She was always quick to reply and very friendly. Upon our agreed upon arrival time her husband was there to meet us (exactly on time) and was extremely friendly showing us around the apartment. He even had fresh pretzels, wine and beer for us. The apartment itself is even better than the pictures and description. It is perfectly decorated, spacious and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better home away from home over the holidays.
We parked our car in Jakobsmrkt which I believe is the closest parking garage to the apartment. Our last two nights there we were able to park on the street for free because of the holiday.
There is quite a bit of foot traffic outside the apartment but we always felt safe and couldn't hear any street noise from inside the apartment. There is an excellent Doner restaurant just outside the apartment (to the left). And a big supermarket across the main street (just outside of the old town). We were in Nuremberg for the Christmas Markets and you are in a perfect location to be just outside the busiest part but still very easily walkable (maybe 10 minutes) to the markets and shopping.
If we ever find ourselves in Nuremberg we will be booking again!

The 'Ferienwohnung Ludwig Street' is located in the heart of the historic city of Nuremberg. From the apartment you look directly at the historic city wall with the powerful Spltterrundturm. All major sights like Imperial Castle, Lawrence and Sebalduskirche, Main Market, Opera House, German National Museum, New Museum, Railroad Museum, Kunsthalle Nürnberg can be reached in less than 10 minutes. If you fancy a shopping spree in the pedestrian zone they are in less than 2 minutes. For visitors and business travelers the subway stop is Plaerrer with all lines right outside the door. The main railway station is a station Messe 6 stops away about 15 minutes.
