This oceanfront home can be yours for a memorable getaway. With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, this two-story home is ideal for family visits or a group of friends.

The beach is only steps away on the boardwalk connecting the home directly to the sand. The living room, dining room, and master bedroom all offer panoramic views of the entire Monterey Bay. End the day with spectacular sunsets over the Pacific.

The vaulted living room ceiling adds to the elegance of the home. All three spacious bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds; the downstairs bedroom also includes a twin bed. All linens and housekeeping service are included as is a washer and dryer.

Do as much cooking as you wish with the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue. You will also find a directory of wonderful close-by restaurants. The home includes three TV sets with satellite receivers, a DVD player, and WiFi. Park your car out of the elements in the two-car garage. All you need to bring is your food and clothing. Everything else awaits you.

Monterey Dunes Colony offers recreational opportunities including tennis courts, basketball court, bocce ball, putting green, a swimming pool, a sand volleyball court, and a Jacuzzi.

Enjoyed time at your house

My family had a wonderful time at this house. We went to Carmel the days and went back to the house. We swam at pool and spa, played tennis, etc. We will come back next time.

Comfortable, well stocked house with a great view

There were 6 of us and we were all very comfortable with our beds and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, glassware and pots and pans. We had a fire in the fireplace both nights, which was a treat. We walked out the back door to the beach. From there, we walked up to Elkhorn Slough and had a fabulous lunch at Phil's Fish House. It was crowded, but they handle the volume of people really well. The sunsets were spectacular!

The Jacuzzi and pool and are only a 5 minute walk from the unit. The flowers on the property were all in bloom; wonderful time of the year to be at Monterey Dunes. We even saw a few rabbits, one mole, one harmless snake and a great red tail hawk.

We will definitely return to this unit.

Awesome Home!!

This is a very well maintained home right on the ocean just west of Castroville & about 20 minutes north of Monterey. It is super clean, spacious, beds are comfortable, enough hot water for everyone to take showers, but the star is the location & views!! Our family loved staying here & have already requested to book the same long weekend in August of 2017.

Beautiful place away from Monterey crowd!

We loved staying here! Beautiful views every where. We could see the ocean from our bedroom. The kitchen was well udesigned & easy to cook in. Beds were very comfy. Everyone had their own space, bathrooms & the living room was perfect for a jigsaw puzzle & games. We liked the quiet & lovely beach! The community pool & hot tub were fun too.

Monterey Dunes Colony is the most well preserved and has the finest natural sand dunes on Monterey Bay. The homeowners have made a positive commitment to preserve and maintain our sand dunes and to protect this precious heritage.

RULES AND FINES

Rules: The rules are enforced by the owner and by Monterey Dunes Colony Association staff. Any violation of rules may result in a fine that will be charged to the guest.

Occupancy: The number of guests occupying the home is limited to seven (7) people, a limit imposed by the Monterey Dunes Colony Association. You may have additional daytime guests if authorized by the owner in advance.

Pets: Guests may NOT bring pets to Monterey Dunes.

Vehicles: If you will have more than 3 vehicles, contact the owner to discuss parking. Motor homes, campers, recreation trailers, trucks, haul trailers or boat/watercraft trailers are not permitted.

Parking: Vehicles must be parked in the garage or outside parking space labeled “110” and, if needed, in a space marked for visitors.

Smoking: Smoking in the home is strictly prohibited.

Beach Fires: State law prohibits fires on the beach.

Drones: Flying of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the airspace of the Monterey Dunes Colony is prohibited.

Sand Dunes & Boardwalks: Do not walk or play on the dunes. Use the boardwalks to the beach.

Disturbances: Neighbors have the right to enjoy their property without being disturbed. Noise, including amplified music, shouting, and hot tub activities shall not disturb or wake neighbors.

Rule Violations: Fines range from $150 to $500 for each rule violation. Let’s follow the rules and avoid fines.
