This light, spatious studio flat (52 m²) is situated in a quiet tree-lined street close to the river Spree and a short walk from Tiergarten, Berlin's large central park. It is nonetheless very centrally located. The main train station is just one stop away by local rail (S-Bahn) and frequent direct trains run between the nearby stations (S- and U-Bahn) and the city's eastern and western centres. And if you'd prefer to walk, traffic-free footpaths will take you through the park to the western centre and the zoo, or along the river to the government district and Brandenburg Gate, in just 20-30 minutes.
Although the river creates a peaceful space close by, the immediate area caters for all your everyday needs. Supermarkets, bakers, a wholefood shop, restaurants, bars and pavement cafés are all just a few minutes’ walk away
The apartment is located on the second floor of a classic Berlin residential building surrounding a private courtyard. It has a fully equipped kitchen area, a bathroom with shower and bath and a living room with a separate split-level bedroom area (the upstairs section has a low ceiling).

The position close to the river, the traditional apartment building with its central courtyard, and the balcony won us over straight away.
The area isn't just beautiful, it's practical too. The city centre (east or west) is easy to reach and the nearby public transport links will take you just about anywhere. When I'm at the apartment I do a lot of walking and cycling, especially along the river bank footpath/cycleway.
We were charmed by this apartment when we saw on the website. He is as much or more in reality. It really is a perfect location, close to grocery stores, bakeries, metro and buses. We also appreciated the particulèrement walks along the river at night. Our 8 year old son especially liked the mezzanine and toys, even if the ceiling is a little low. The kitchen is fully equipped. In fact, we have not missed anything in this apartment. The owner responds quickly to emails and questions. I recommend this apartment again and I am very happy to have found this little gem that has allowed us to appreciate even more our first stay in this magnificent city of Berlin.
This well-appointed apartment is ideal for a couple and can also accommodate two reasonably agile children - their sleeping area is loft-style, reached by a good ladder. The apartment has a small balcony overlooking the quiet street which carries only light traffic; there's no background traffic din. The kitchen is very well equipped, if slightly short on storage space. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The apartment is well maintained and in spotless condition. The listing description is just fine.
A very good supermarket is just 10 minutes' walk away; almost next door to the apartment building is the excellent Buchkantine, an informal bistro and bookshop with plenty of outdoor seating. It almost overlooks the Spree; Bellevue S-bahn station is about 15 minutes' walk away along the river bank; from there it's just one stop to the Hauptbahnhof.
The owner provides excellent service before your arrival and there's plenty of information to browse in the apartment.
We've stayed there twice - which speaks for itself, and would not hesitate to return.
We were so happy to find this great apartment in Berlin. It is in a real neighborhood which makes it fun! You'll be completely out of the tourist zone and in a place where you'll see people going to work and kids biking to school. There are a few bakeries and a great supermarket close by. Every morning I got up early and bought brötchen and other pastries and we had a real German breakfast right in our apartment. A short walk to 2 subway stops and you're close to the Spree! Berlin is an interesting city. We had never been there before an look forward to visiting again. Of course we'll stay in this apartment! Have a great trip!
Die Wohnung ist offen und freundlich und bietet genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten auch für mehrere Leute. Zu zweit war sie für uns sehr großzügig und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre, um nach einem Stadtbummel zur Ruhe zu kommen oder in Ruhe etwas zu kochen. Neben dem Wohnzimmer mit der freundlichen Atmosphäre bietet die Wohnung ebenfalls andere Möglichkeiten sich wohlzufühlen. Auch der Balkon mit Blick in die grünen Bäume oder die Restaurants in der Nähe bieten eine ruhige Möglichkeit sich zu einem Schwätzchen zusammenzusetzen. Alles im allem haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt :-).

Die Angaben zum Domizil waren richtig, sie entsprachen der Realität. Die Wohnung war sauber und angenehm. Für ältere Personen ist es kaum möglich im oberen Teil zu schlafen, für Kinder jedoch ist es ansprechend, zudem finden sie dort Spielsachen und Bücher vor. Die Umgebung mit Restaurants und kleinen Läden sowie einer älteren Bausubstanz sehr ansprechend. Einzig der Zugang zu den ÖV ist etwas weit, was für ältere Menschen und kleine Kinder (die nicht mehr im Kinderwagen sitzen wollen) anstrengend sein kann. Die Abwicklung mit der Vermieterin ist reibungslos, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.
We were extremely lucky to find this very comfortable, well-equipped apartment. It is situated on a quiet, pretty street a short walk from Hansaplatz U-Bahn and close to the Tiergarten. There are restaurants very close by and a small supermarket adjacent to Hansaplatz station - all tried and recommended if you don't want to venture too far.
The apartment itself has a double bedroom with ample storage, a childrens' bed deck/mezannine (restricted height), a kitchen with every utensil you could require and very clean bathroom. There is a seating and dining area, modern television and CD/radio. The balcony is a lovely, private space perfect for a beer in the evening.
Anne is incredibly helpful, speaks English perfectly and takes great pride in ensuring you have a pleasant stay.
For those seeking German beer and food, I also recommend Tiergartenquelle on Bachstrasse - about 15-minutes walk from the apartment.

The apartment is centrally shr, close to the river Spree, near the Tiergarten and the western city center. In about 15 minutes you reach the presidential residence Bellevue Palace, in about 30 main railway station, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. In the immediate vicinity you will find a supermarket, bakery, organic grocery store, banks, pharmacy and market as well as a good selection of restaurants and cafes. In the warmer seasons, the shipping company Riedl offers boat tours. Both at the boat launch at the Hansa bridge and on the nearby shore of Helgoland, there are floating restaurants. From the U-Bahnhöf Hansa Square, the S-Bahn station Bellevue and the bus stops, the tower road you can reach all destinations in the Berlin area well served by public transport.
