Four nice size bedrooms and a hide-a-bed will comfortably accomodate 8-10 people. Our living room with wood fireplace overlooks the lake only 60' from our cottage. We have a 2009 family room addition with more great lake views, ceiling fans, and comfortable new furniture. The re-modeled maple cabinet kitchen has a dishwasher and new built-in microwave and is complete with stand-up mixer, bread machine, ice cream maker, and a Keurig. High-chair, a booster chair, and pack-n-play await the family with small children.
We have lovely swimming in the summer, laying on our extended water deck and float, and paddling to our lake island. Use our CANOE, PADDLE BOAT and ROW BOAT on the lake or relax in the hammock by the lakeshore. Roast marshmallows at the firepit with an unlimited supply of firewood. Hiking/walking is awesome on the nearby Shannon Lake trail and other locations (information provided at home). Ride your bikes through the northwoods on the new bike roads which go for miles! Eagles, loons, and lots of wildlife continue to remind of us nature's beauty...3 otters performed a magnificent show for us in October while we watched from our living room window! And the St. Germain Chamber newsletter reported a 42' muskie caught in Found Lake in October. Winter is great, too, for ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing. Skiing in the UP is about an hour's drive north. You won't believe how beautiful the snow covered pines look until you walk under the branch canopy! Please check our calendar. If you would like to be on our cancellation waiting list, please notify us.

My grandparents bought a summer cottage on Brandy Lake in Woodruff, WI in the 1920's that is still in the family. We spent much of our summers there with cousins, grandma M., and Aunt Tuss. My dad has been going Up North since he was a baby. Our grandkids are 5th generation Northwoods lovers. We looked at many cottages before purchasing Hidden Pines. We love being near the best golf courses, restaurants, lakes, hiking, biking, fishing and clothes shopping (sorry, hon!) the north woods has to offer. Rise with the morning sun and you'll see why!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! It is clean and accomodating in every way! Can't wait to come back next year!
We had a fantastic week at Hidden Pines! The accommodations were perfect for our two families of four. The kids loved the water, mini-golfing, horseback riding, and go-carting. Lots of great hiking. The lake was quiet and we rented a power boat from St. Germain Sport and Marine for tubing. We also used the canoe, row boat, and paddle boat from the cabin. Tons of great wildlife too!
Seven guys stayed here for a pond hockey tournament. The house has lots of room to spread out with a bed or sleeper for 6 of us and a couch for the 7th. Very comfortable, with great decor. Great for family or group. Fast internet and great TV service. Nice quiet location, with ski trails nearby and snowmobile trails on the far side of the lake.
Had the best time here! It was very clean and the swimming was great in the clear lake. My 4-year-old caught her first fish of the dock and my father and I had a good day of fishing! There are many things to do in the surrounding towns, but we enjoyed the view and the lake at home the most. We seen a great deal of deer and I had a once in a lifetime encounter with an eagle while I was on the boat. Loved this place and it was very hard to leave. My daughter enjoyed the toys on hand as well. Great place and great fun. Can't wait to come back!
We had a great time at Hidden Pines. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and cozy. There are lots of personal touches that make it feel like home. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces are great and the view of the lake and surrounding yard is beautiful, peaceful and private. I highly recommend Hidden Pines as a home away from home for vacation.
Absolutely enjoyed our week at Hidden Pines. The lake home was fully-equipped and very clean. The view of the lake from the large windows was great, as was the shallow and sandy-bottomed lake. More than enough toys to keep the kids busy on a rainy day!! Lots of fish in the lake as well as loons and otters. Fantastic!
Hidden Pines had more than enough room. It was very clean and comfortable. It was equiped with everything needed to make our stay enjoyable.
My grandson caught his first musky on Found Lake along with other great fish. The paddle boat was fun when it wasn't our turn to go fishing. The loon(s), eagles, heron, otters and beautiful lake kept our cameras busy.
We took a small boat over to Little Bass Lake. It was very quiet and pretty. Caught lots of bass.
The owners were very helpful with our questions and easy to correspond with. I would highly recommend this home and would consider returning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
