Year round home in quiet established neighborhood. Built and designed by a builder for his own retirement, set on a .68 acre treed lot for privacy, with a fenced back yard. There are no small rooms, and there is lots of storage. Why would anyone stay in a hotel when you could have a furnished home. It is so well located that you have easy access to all the major freeways.
Available for a weekend, week, a month or longer. Ideal for people relocating to Columbus, here on business; or just wanting to explore the diverse city of Columbus.
Golf: As far as golf courses I am not a golfer myself so I checked online and within about 25 miles there are over 40 public and many more private such as Muirfield. When looking in the Columbus area you have to look at all the suburbs Grove City, Groveport, Hilliard, Johnstown, Dublin, Powell, Sunbury, West Jefferson, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Pataskala, Westerville, Gahanna, Johnstown, Canal Winchester, New Albany and Lancaster which should all be within 25 miles and you can go out from there.
The ones I believe are the closest is Ohio State University 614-459-4653 1.8 miles. Arlington Town Center 614-450-3798 2.5 miles Wilson Road Golf 624-645-3221 5.4 miles, Ohio Golf Links 614-764-1322 4.5 miles, Raymond Memorial Golf Course 614-645-3276n5.6 miles, Little Bear is new 740 548 8532 7.9 miles, Wedgewood Golf 614-793-2600 7.1 miles, New Albany Links 614-855-8532 14 miles private that does allow the public, Tartan Fields new in 1998 614-792-0727 8.8 miles
We lived next door for 13 years before purchasing this home in 1995 It was designed and built by a builder for his own retirement. Although less than 1600 square feet the floor plan makes it feel roomy and is very versatile . When we retired 2006 to our vacation home on the river only 100 miles away we hated to give up this house. The location is so perfect; close to everything important but with a large yard on quiet street. We decided to see if others would feel this way too, and they have
Judy Wallace purchased this house in 1995
We had a wonderful time staying at your house! It had everything we needed and was very peaceful.
I needed a lot of space for my family of 6 while I was on a holiday/business trip with my family. I was worried that I wouldn't find a place that my family could be comfortable in, especially w/o breaking the bank. Judy has provided the PERFECT "home-away-from-home" get away. She has literally though of everything of convenience that a hotel could never match, and at a price that can't be beat. More space for the money, with all the conveniences of home....that's what you get! Thanks Judy!
Judy was very sweet and friendly to deal with. The location was perfect for us and we were thrilled to be able to travel with our dog. The fenced yard was great for playing ball with the dog and grandkids. The home was quite roomy even though it only has 2 bedrooms. My only somewhat negative thought is that the home needs updating. In particular, the carpeting needs to be replaced pretty badly and the faucets in the upstairs bathroom are extremely hard to turn on because of their age. Other than that it was great!
Everything about this property was great. The house is spacious and very comfortable with a large, shady back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and felt very safe. The house is stocked with everything you might need -- toys for all ages, games, books, dishes, cleaning supplies, staples like flour and sugar, every spice known to mankind, and literally everything you might need but don't want to carry with you. The owner (Judy Wallace) is just as nice and thoughtful as can be. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would happily do it all again.
We recently stayed at this wonderful property for a long weekend. It exceeded all expectations! Very spacious for the four of us and was just like our home away from home. Thank you for sharing!!!
We booked this house for our daughter-in-law's graduation from Ohio State. We have three dogs and never kennel them . We wanted a place comfortable for all, myself, husband, sister-in-law, and pups! Judy and Ron's house is amazing. After traveling for 12 hours, we arrived late afternoon. Our Son, daughter -in-law , and her parents all joined us at the house, bring dinner in, early evening. The entire kitchen is totally equipped with anything one would need. We even had champagne glasses to toast our graduate!! The back yard is totally fenced in, well maintained, with plenty of room to run, lots of room to play fetch, a great yard for dogs, young children or just yourself to take a chair and relax. Judy has a notebook with information on any pleasure you might like to explore in the Columbus area, as well as information about the house and accessories . There honestly was nothing we didn't have at our fingertips. We recommend this house for any family visiting the area, great for a family out of town looking at colleges in the area, attending any college functions, looking to relocate and needing time to explore the area, or just vacationing. You could not find a more comfortable, clean, efficient home. Judy even makes herself available if you need any assistance with anything. We thank you both for making our family event a very memorable occasion .

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful home --- and, once again, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
It is spacious -- yet comfy! And close to everything we need.
This time we brought our furry family member -- he had a ball running around the large back yard!
We just feel like this is our home away from home!
