For those times when you want to walk out the front door and right onto the boardwalk, we’ve got The Sea Star! This four bedroom (all with ocean views) and 3 bathroom location provides the perfect accommodations for an ideal beach vacation. Located between Nahant and Nantasket Courts at 3563 Ocean Front Walk, this is arguably the best area in Mission Beach - midway between Crystal Pier and Belmont Park.

Bring the entire family or squad when you stay in this two-story 2000SF beauty! You can sleep up to 8 adults and 2 juniors between the King size bed in the Master Bedroom, Queen size beds in the second and fourth bedrooms, and a Full size and Twin size in the third bedroom. The Master and bedrooms two and three are upstairs on the third floor of the building, and bedroom number four is on the first floor of the unit, second floor of the building. We recommend saving the fourth bedroom for the snorer in your group... no one will be able to hear them!

The kitchen and dining areas are fully equipped with service for 10 and seating for 10. The kitchen has a floor to ceiling ocean view! It’s not really a vacation unless you can see the ocean while brewing your coffee.

With four balconies, two of which are water front, this townhome is truly a jaw-dropper. Centrally located and overlooking the entire beach and the boardwalk, there's plenty of people watching to do when you tire of the flawless sunsets and tranquil rolling waves.

Hate the sand but want a tan? The balcony off the Master bedroom is large enough for you and a few friends to sunbathe. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Diligent followup

I received an email updating me on the electricity of the Sea Star. Apparently, the 100 amp circuit breaker on the main service panel burned out the contacts on the house. The ocean salt air corroded the circuit breaker connection, resulting in the power failure we unfortunately experienced 4/9/2017. I'm sure, with the professionals they have employed, the circuit breaker has been replaced and power is on.

So for those of you who read and rely on these reviews, it is a lovely home in a gorgeous location, with loads of toys and games, a well supplied kitchen for you cooks, and plenty of room for everyone.

I'm giving them two extra stars for the informative and kind followup, not something everyone will do, not to mention, the place is superb with the electricity restored.

Unforeseen circumstances??

First of all, this is NOT a rental by owner, unless Pacific Sunset Group outright owns the property, which was the first bit of misleading information from this rental.

Don't get me wrong, the location is great, plenty of room, well stocked dinnerware, cookware in the kitchen, however, the extra refrigerator in the dining area should have been a dead giveaway, we just thought it was cool for a second place for drinks. The kitchen electricity completely failed our last evening in SD...no refrigerator, no microwave, no dishwasher. The second refrigerator came in suspiciously handy to prevent our food from spoiling.

When we arrived at the property, all was as described, except the living room and master bedroom tv's wouldn't work. The maintenance man, JJ, came by Friday, and finally late Saturday he had rigged some extension cords from the garage to a power source? so they worked after that, but then the kitchen electricity kept flickering on and off.

We also did not receive our "welcome package" (info to get into the building) until I emailed and asked for it. We've stayed in places through VRBO with much better results.

It was not fabulous. Call and make sure they have resolved their electricity issues before renting.

Best Vacation Ever!

This was the best vacation rental ever! I have been renting houses on the Eastern Shore and CA for a number of years and this is by far the best rental company to work with! The staff is very responsive and very accommodating. The home is the perfect vacation home - well equipped with beach equipment, including towels. I cooked for 8 adults every night and had all the cookware necessary to cook a great meal. The family had a wonderful time together. The large kitchen table and all the porches facing the beach had everyone staying at home even in the evenings. We already made our reservation for next year!

fabulous!

i return to mission beach every year and this by far is my favourite condo! spacious, comfortable and clean. the big windows from the living room looking out to the beach, as does the balcony from the master bedroom upstairs. sights and sounds of the ocean everywhere, relaxing and beautiful.

the kitchen is roomy and well equipped with everything imaginable...nothing has been forgotten. the garage easily fits two cars side by side....i have stayed at other condos where parking is a nightmare.

i was initially worried that guests beneath us would be noisey but this was unfounded...a young couple live there and do not rent out the property. they are very friendly and laid back, just like all the people around here! the sea air surely makes people happy!

thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful condo...we'll be back!

Occupants have the option of paying their balance by check, cash, or credit card. Credit Cards are accepted with signer guarantee and may be used for any travel insurance purchases or balances owed with up to an additional 2.75% PSG service charge. Occupants acknowledge that if they choose to use a credit /debit card for any of the travel insurance purchases or balances due, up to an additional 2.75% service charge will be added to that charge and paid for via deduction from their security deposit. Occupants paying their balance by check/money order/e-check may opt to purchase a vacation rental damage insurance policy at a cost of $45 in lieu of a security deposit. Security deposits are dependent upon the size of the unit and range from $300 - $600. Occupants paying their balance by credit card must pay the security deposit amount for their selected rental.
