Wow! Where to begin? The Cup-n-Saucer is a magical relaxing journey back into New England's charm, warmth, history and hospitality. The home itself is breathtakingly beautiful and invites you into each room for a new comfort experience and more than a little history. In walking distance to downtown Kennebunkport, you are always close to dining, shopping, antiquing, or just browsing about this wonderful town. A CAN'T MISS DESTINATION!!!!!!
Within walking distance to the quaint Kennebunkport downtown, this house is amazing! There are numerous sleeping and sitting area options making it a perfect getaway for two to ten. The house is beautifully appointed and well maintained. If you care to cook, you will find the kitchen has everything you need. From family breakfasts around the kitchen table to cocktails in the sun room, this vacation rental has all the comforts of home.
You don't need to look any further for a vacation home! This home is perfect, for a family of 2 up to a family of 8-10. It is all that you would want or need. It is beautifully furnished and a very well furnished kitchen. You can wake up in the morning and drink your coffee on the sun porch, where you have a view of the beautiful backyard! You are a 5-10 minute walk (depending on how many times you stop to take photos of the beautiful surroundings) to downtown where there are so many shops and wonderful eating places. Katie has put a book together that gives suggestions of eating places and shopping. You really don't have to do any research. After a day seeing all the gorgeous sights in and around Kennebunkport, you come back to the Cup and Saucer and enjoy a cocktail of your choice in the backyard around the fire pit. I would highly recommend the Cup and Saucer and plan to make this one of our favorite vacation places.
This is a beautiful house in a beautiful town. We rented two houses in Kennebunkport for a family get together. Of the two, my whole family loved this home by far. It retains the historical feel of a nearly 250 year old home with the comforts of a new one. Very well equipped, a beautiful back yard with a fire pit and easy walking access to town. It is clean, well maintained and perfect for entertaining and feeding a large group. In addition the owner couldn't have been more helpful and considerate from the date of initial booking through prompt return of our security deposit. We would all love to return to Kennebunkport and would stay here in an instant.
Our family stayed in this very special home for a week in May, and we were delighted with every aspect of our visit. While surrounded by lovely furnishings and artwork, we all felt very much at home and comfortable. This home offers spacious rooms with privacy for all, as well as cozy spaces where we gathered to laugh and play games. We had everything we needed for our lobster dinner and spent great times gathered at the kitchen table for breakfast. It is conveniently located a short walk from town and the beaches. We especially enjoyed walking along the coastline and in the neighborhood where this historic house is one of many. Our stay in Kennebunkport was a treat and one that will be long remembered.
This is a beautiful historic home updated with all modern amenities. The owners have outfitted it with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Kennebunkport. The furnishings are lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed lounging on the sun porch in the morning with coffee and afternoon with wine. It's a short walk to Kennebunkport for shopping and ice cream and a short walk to watch the sunset at the beach.
