The location of this apartment is ideal - quiet but very close to the center! The apartment is within walking distance of the historic center of the university, the city and Burgtheater Hofburg and St. Stephen. But you can go to other attractions such as Prater / Giant Ferris Wheel and Schönbrunn Castle with direct metro lines (station is located about 150 meters from the house). Nearby, there is a popular market and many good restaurants with Viennese and international cuisine as well as excellent shopping infrastructure.
This beautiful house is typical for Vienna, with its high ceilings and generous bedrooms. Both the apartment and the house have been recently renovated, so you can always rely on a high level of comfort. Through two large windows in the corner room apartment is beautifully bright and airy. A continuous, traditional oak flooring makes it especially comfortable.
This apartment is wonderfully bright, quiet and has been renovated only a short while ago. It has 60 m² and two rooms and is extremely spacious and perfect for 2-4 people, because there are two sleeping rooms.
The apartment is located in a charming and also newly renovated Viennese fin-de-siecle house, with ist typical features, such as high ceilings and traditional wooden parquet floors. The apartment was fully renovated only a short while ago and has, besides the new wooden parquet floors, also new windows and new electrical and heating installations.
Apartment "Adam" is situated in a very pleasant and very centrally located living area nearby the socalled "Karmeliter" market. You can even walk to St. Stephen's cathedral by foot (20 minutes) and reach the first district, where all the major sights are located, in only five minutes. There are two metro lines U4 and U2 just around the corner (exit "Herminengasse" of station "Schottenring")
The metro lines U4 and U2 around the corner also brings you directly and without changing from the apartment to Prater, Big Wheel, Schönbrunn Castle, State Opera, Kärntner Street, Imperial Castle, and other major sights.
The apartment is located in a very quiet street, so it is very calm and quiet. It also features high ceilings (more than 3 meters) and big windows, so it's pleasantly bright in the apartment. But of course, you can darken the rooms at night with curtains.
The commercial and shopping infrastructure is very good, there are several supermarkets nearby, as well as nice restaurants and other shops. And the apartment is also in short walking distance to a nice peasant's markets for fresh fruits and other similar items.
If you like to go running or if you have kids, you will appreciate that the big and historic baroque park "Augarten" is nearby, which also offers three well-equipped playgrounds and a kids' swimming pool. There are also three very nice restaurants in this park, if you like to have lunch or dinner in those restaurants outside under the trees. However, the apartment is located very centrally, so you can enjoy nature and city-centre-sights, both in walking distance at the same time, and without the hustle and bustle you have in other regions in Vienna.
The Apartment "Adam" is perfect for up to 4 people, but it is also reserved a lot by couples spending a few days in Vienna or even by bigger families (because there is enough space for up to 6 people, however it is tight for so many people).
In the apartment, I can also add a baby bed, and there is WLAN and a washing machine.
I love to travel, so I also love to welcome guests in my apartments.

This flat is a heart project of me. I have searched a smaller apartment, which would have been cheaper. But when I saw this flat with the beautiful and bright rooms and the big windows, and the sunlight filled the big corner room, I could not resist but to buy this apartment. This dream came true some years ago and I am glad that the guests appreciate the flat so much as I do. The apartments have such a friendly atmosphere!
In addition to that, the location is very good, as all major sights can be either visited by walking or by taking a convenient and direct connection with metro, directly from the station near the apartments to the sights.
The spacious, bright and quiet rooms and the very attractive location make this flat so special: It is very close to downtown and therefore within walking distance of many major tourist attractions. Nevertheless, one does not live here right in the 'tourist-bustle', but in 'authentic' and very pleasant Viennese neighborhoods. The apartment is located a few minutes of a very popular local food market and also perfectly connected to public transport: Two major subway stations and other tram and bus stations are located in the immediate vicinity. Moreover, it is those metro lines (U4 and U2) that will take you directly and without change to the main attractions (unless you already reach these on foot, which is possible in some cases from this apartment).

The apartment was in a good location and close to the metro line, the river and only a 15-20 minute walk from the Rathaus and other great Vienna locations.
We really enjoyed staying in this flat. The main room has high ceilings and has a double aspect so felt light and airy. We very much enjoyed watching the street scene below. The location is perfect for getting around Vienna being very close to the underground and tram stops. The decor is modern and attractive and contrasts nicely with the historical building. The kitchen area is small but practical enough for food preparation and is well equipped.
This apartment was exactly as promoted, and Mrs Mayr was responsive during negotiation and welcoming upon our arrival. We stayed six nights in comfort. The location was well-situated close to the U-Bahn, the canal (which is a delightful attraction), the inner city and the Prater. A CityBike station was close by and we were able to cover much of the city by bicycle. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
A very good property in general with really nice atmosphere. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, easily accesible. 5 minutes walk from the metro, 15 minutes walk from the city center along or across the Danube canal. The apartment itself is pretty spacious, in particular the bedroom. It is well equipped, we found there everything we needed. On the top, Beate is a very helpful and professional host. It was a pleasure to meet her. When we come back to Vienna, we will be inquiring about the availability of this apartment indeed.
First and foremost, these are very nice people.
The apartment is huge, clean, bright and completely renovated to modern standards, although in an older building. The owners combined three apartment units into a single large one. All the comforts of a modern U.S. home, down to the espresso machine. Comes with everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Decorated with art by the owners. This is Vienna, after all.
Transportation is a breeze. No. 5, 31 and 33 trams a block away. These trams connect to the U Bahn 6 station just over the bridge. Taxi stand 3 blocks away.
There is an open air market three blocks away. The safe neighborhood has many Turkish, Czech and East Indian immigrant residents, so plenty of exotic foods on offer. The Arabia Cafe two blocks away (home cooked Viennese food, not Arabic) is a great place to start the day before you hit the Innere Stadt.
Book it while you can.

The flat is connected perfectly to public means of transportation: On account of the location in the 2nd district directly at the border to the 1st district, you go only few minutes to the historical city centre where all important places of interest are (Hofburg, Stephansdom, state opera, Burgtheater, Kunsthistorisches Museum, MuseumsQuartier, Kärntner Straße, Graben etc.). Moreover, the underground line U4 connects the apartment directly to the castle Schönbrunn. And the underground line U2 brings you directly to the Prater, in only 2 stations. Both underground lines (U2 and U4) and its station 'Schottenring' (exit 'Herminengasse') are directly around the corner from the flat.
The house, in which the flat is located on the 2nd floor, lies in a very quiet and nice residential area in the 2nd district, near the artist's quarter around the 'Karmeliter' market, where also many nice and good bars are. There is perfect shopping infrastructure immediately around the corner of the flat.
And for everybody who wants to do sports or go with the children once on the playground or in the swimming-pool: The nearby Augarten, the nice and biggest historical baroque park in Vienna, is only five minutes walking distance away. It is also home of the School and concert hall of the well-known Vienna Boys' Choir (Wiener Sängerknaben).
