About the property

2BR Lakefront Vacation Rental Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania USA

If privacy, peace, and quiet are what you are looking for -- or if you want to spend every day looking for excitement, you must see this beautiful cedar log home, situated on an approximately 70-acre lake.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property!

There are only three homes on the lake, with no motorboats allowed. Two paddle boats, a canoe, and a row boat come with the rental. Fishing and swimming are only the beginning. Many year-round Pocono activities are within minutes.

'I can't believe this place is only two hours from Manhattan, it's like a different galaxy! So quiet, so peaceful, so beautiful'.

Avi and Shani, New York, NY

From our guest book: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This has been a blissful week for the two of us. You go beyond 100%. Every detail was perfect! Twice I filled bird feeders. Boy, can those little guys eat! Thank you for all your helpful hints on where to eat and where to go. We didn't go far. This was our 18th Anniversary and one we will remember fondly. The sunrise is pure bliss.

Joe and Donna, Coventry, Rhode Island

From our guest book: Familiarity breeds comfort. Our second stay proved even more rewarding than the first. While the lure of the attractions in the area lessened, the lake keeps on giving. Just relaxing in this beautiful environment was the perfect salve for our stressed lives. Like the little sign in the hallway implies, we wonderfully fell into a different sense of time. May the cabin be as rejuvenating to all those who follow.

Paul, Sally, Matthew & Maria

From our guest book: Quoth the Mommy, 'The drive down the dirt track seemed to last 5 miles', such was the excitement of our imminent arrival... and we weren't disappointed! The cabin, the lake and the hills were filled with everything we'd anticipated - fun, relaxation and adventure. The General taunted Aunt Wendy all week by taking at least 5 hooks and many more worms. Current estimates have him at 15 pounds and although he was never caught, a wide variety of fish were hooked. Bonnie and Clyde (the chipmunks) are both well. There are more we believe, but never saw more than two at once. At the far end of the lake we met Murtle (the turtle) who's about a foot across.... As is probably quite evident, we didn't get out much.... we just enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

About Lillian Caron

I purchased this beautiful home in 1999 and have rented it out on an average of six weeks per summer with a few years skipped in order to make renovations. The home is extremely comfortable, sleeping six. Waking up in the morning and seeing the sun rise with the mist coming off the water is my favorite time of day. I usually sit on the deck with my coffee until other activities draw me away. Fishing is fantastic, swimming is invigorating and sitting in the sun on a lounge chair is relaxing. My family and I have enjoyed the cottage every year. My boys have families of their own and make an annual pilgrimage to enjoy the lake house. This house has been my get away and salvation in this hectic world we live in. In 2013 I met the love of my life and now Don and I plan to eventually retire at the lake house. I HOPE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO ENJOY IT AS I HAVE AND WE DO.

Gorgeous lakefront cottage

  • 5 of 5

The location of this cottage is amazing with breathtaking views. The area is nice and quiet with no neighbors in sight which is exactly what you need after chaotic life in NYC. I definitely will recommend this cottage to all my friends and will return there myself in the future!

Great vacation,away from it all

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cottage for a week in July (11-18) .As we arrived, we were pleasantly impressеd by the nature surrounding and isolating us. Just like we wanted it to be!

There were so many things to do at the site, that we did not bother leaving. Swimming right out of the dock, fishing right of the boat, and a selection of boats was really a great bonus. It felt like the lake belonged only to ourselves,as you can rarely see or hear someone. And the views!!! You can just relax in the hammock near the lake and just look at those endless ranges of mountains as it beautifully reflected in the water! The cottage itself is very nicely accommodated and has a great view from the dining area. We definitely enjoyed every moment spent there and it is truly a secluded paradise!

Thank you very much, Lilian!

Andrey and family.
