Wonderful spacious apartment

This is a lovely spacious bright open apartment with a garden in the back. Very comfortable beds and all the extras that you need. Steps to the U4 train station. Grocery shop around the corner. The owner went the extra mile to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended

Excellent ski vacation

The condo was clean, functional and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The owner went above and beyond to make everything just right.

I liked the ski in/ski out aspect while not being situated in the middle of Winter Park Resort (although It took a couple of tries to find the best ski run - Mary Jane - to ski back to the condo)

Great location, wonderful apartment

We were in Vienna during Christmas 2016 (family of 5--two adults and three teen-aged children). The apartment was great. Close to the subway and in a nice neighborhood near Schönbrunn Palace. The bedrooms are large, and the kitchen and bathroom were more than adequate--large, clean, with great water pressure (and the bathroom has heated towel racks!). There is a washer/dryer which we made use of, and that was very convenient. The apartment was clean and spacious--if we ever go back to Vienna again, I would definitely stay here. There is a market close by, so we ate breakfast some days before venturing out. The best pastry/breakfast we had during our entire stay was at a nearby restaurant, OBERLAA-Dommayer (http://www.oberlaa-wien.at/standort-13/?lang=en). It's billed as a "traditional Viennese coffee house" and I highly recommend it--it's only a 10-minute walk from the apartment, and it's more than worth it. The subway system is very easy to navigate and the apartment is very close to the S-bahn and U-bahn station, making it very convenient to get around. The description on VRBO is very accurate and we loved our stay, and the owners were a dream to deal with.

Schöne Wohnung an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße

Die Wohnung ist geräumig mit viel Licht, einer guten Aufteilung (z.B. Bad mit zwei Waschbecken und Toilette getrennt) und insgesamt recht ansprechend. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht stimmig, da es kein Luxusapartment ist: Betten teils etwas durchgelegen, Ausziehcouch im Wohnzimmer ist zum Hinsetzen nicht geeignet, weil sie ständig nach vorne rutscht, Küchenstühle und dazugehörige Tischsets sind alt und abgegriffen. Standard-Ikea-Küche, Geschirr schlicht und zum Teil ziemlich abgerieben. Bei unserer Ankunft waren ein paar der Schüsseln im Schrank schmutzig. Für uns sehr problematisch war der starke Verkehrslärm und die Abgase auf der Küchen- und Wohnzimmerseite. Zwar gibt es Schallschutzfenster, doch das Lüften war deshalb auf dieser Seite kaum möglich, im Sommer nicht gerade angenehm. Die Schlafzimmerseite weist hingegen auf einen begrünten Innenhof, den man allerdings nicht nutzen darf. Die Nähe zu Schönbrunn ist ein großer Pluspunkt, in ein paar Minuten ist man an einem der Eingänge zum Park, auch die U-Bahn-Anbindung zur Innenstadt ist vorzüglich.

Luxus ist anders !

Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war anfänglich sehr freundlich und vielversprechend - ebenso die Fotos der Wohnung .

Nach Ankunft jedoch ernüchternd - Küche minimalst ausgestattet mit teilweise kaputtem IKEA Geschirr - nur 1 Pfanne - zerkratzt und sehr ekelerregend! Auf sofortigen e-Mail Kontakt mit der Vermieterin erfolgte keine Reaktion . Lediglich mit der nur englisch sprechenden osteuropäische Assistentin konnte man sich per sms in Verbindung setzen. Sie ließ uns wissen, dass es eine andere Ausstattung nicht gäbe - alle Apartments seien gleich ...!

Die Fotos im Internet stammen wohl vom Beginn - mittlerweile alles etwas ungepflegt . Bettwäsche wird ungebügelt aufgezogen !

Sehr schade, denn alles hörte und sah sich anfangs sehr gut an - ist allerdings den hohen Preis keinesfalls wert!

Das Apartment ist in Top-Zustand - Geschirr wurde ersetzt. Die Bettwäsche ist bügelfrei und wird von uns mit schonendsten Waschmitteln gepflegt, um auf empfindliche Gäste Rücksicht zu nehmen. Meine Assistentin JELENA spricht fließend Englisch, Kroatisch, Slowenisch und auch Deutsch. Sie ist rund um die Uhr erreichbar und um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt. Unser Apartment als ungepflegt zu bezeichnen, ist absolut unrichtig. Wir erneuern laufend sowohl technische Ausstattung, Möblierung und Küchenausstattung. Mit besten Grüßen aus Wien

In the immediate vicinity, numerous restaurants, bars and shops as well as the well-known landmark of Austria, Schönbrunn Palace. With its picturesque castle park and the famous zoo and Plamenhäusern. The apartment is located directly vis a vis the Schönbrunn Palace park.

The metro station Hitzing, which is located on the main Viennese U4 is 50 meters and is therefore to achieve in a minute. The drive from here to the City Airport Train (CAT), the fastest connection to the airport takes exactly 11 minutes. With this line, they are also still a few minutes when Stephen's Cathedral.

For most Austrian cuisine just two minutes walk away is taken care of: The parent company of the famous Viennese award-winning chef Ewald Plachutta typical Austrian dishes are served at the highest level. Famous the "Plachutta" is the way to be boiled beef with horseradish, roast potatoes and applesauce.

Food and basic necessities they receive just around the corner (100 meters) in the nearest supermarket. In the same street there are also a pharmacy, shoemaker, antique dealers, etc. Numerous restaurants, coffee houses and typical Viennese, but also international eateries line the immediate environment. One of the most famous coffee houses of Vienna, Cafe Dommayer together with its beautiful garden is just 300 meters away. Immediately outside the front door leads past the Viennese central bike path that extends from the Lainz Park on St. Stephen's Square to the Danube Island and the Danube wetlands. (Wheels in Vienna there are more than 100 public rental agencies borrow). For joggers, the relaxation starts in front of the apartment door.

The classic Shopping loads of only about 250 meters away Situated Hietzinger main square, but offers a variety of modern boutiques, designer stores and antique shops. The districts and Hietzing Penzing are considered the classic, rich and middle-class districts. They are also very close to city and green! Vienna has an excellent subway network and is continually recognized for the cleanest and most beautiful underground Europe. Please note that this apartment is located only 50 meters next to the Hietzing underground station. The journey to the famous Vienna State Opera is just nine minutes!
