Beachfront condo getaway
Christian and his wife have setup a very comfortable beach front condo getaway. If you are planning on cooking the week I reccommened going into San Pedro de Macoris to their supermercado to grab groceries for the week. The taxi ride will cost about $30 round trip. You can also make prints of your picutres you take at a photo shop near the center. They upload photos via bluetooth or by cable from camera or cell phone. They can quickly photoshop your pics into something very cool. Besides those two things I wouldn't reccommened going to San Pedro. There is really nothing worth while see heading to Juan Dolio except for Christians home. I did see on the way over a small water park which could be cool with big slides you may want to check out about 15 min before you get there. The ocean view and property is beautiful and is where you'll want to be staying. It's a nice place to get away and make a connection with that special person. They don't allow adults in the kids area so don't try to get on the swings and there is security everywhere so don't try to make out or they will tell you something :) We had fun playing soccer, and catch on the beach property. Although it is secured ....for some reason they allowed people to walk on the beach and try to sell you stuff from a distance....a least it was from a distance and they will go away after they notice you are not interested. The pool is nice and the cheesburger and chicken wings was good at the resturant. The beds on the beach are relaxing. There was a nice breeze and we really didn't want to have to leave. The couch could use a steam cleaning and the hot water didn't function but 2 min. There was everything you needed to cook except for a toaster oven or a cooking oven. Buy laundry degerent, TP,cooking oil/spices, food and paper towels. The wall outlets look to be European but fit US plugs. You can close the exterior shades with a switch at night to make the rooms extra dark. There isn't a radio so I'd reccommened brining some music player. There were candles for candle light dinners, they may need to get more. The bed comforter is not the red one as in the pic, but it was comfy. In the spare room closet you'll find more bath linen. There are some mosquitos and flys that will get in when the sliding glass door is open. I was visited by the cleaning services to pay which I wasn't expecting but she was kind. Not many people ventured into the waters but the surf was nice. I'd like to go back and relax more :)
Thank you so much for all and i hope you coming again.
i wish you a nice year.
Ruhiger Urlaub in traumhafter Anlage
