Spacious, well equipped apartment-Great Location!

Just came back from a very enjoyable 10 day stay at this apartment with my wife and two small boys. Having stayed in some good and not so good apartments over the years, I can honestly say that this apartment is everything as advertised and couldn’t fault it in any way. Stefan met us there when we arrived. He is a really nice guy and was extremely helpful in showing us all around, he had plenty of good advice about things to do and see in the area. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a quiet apartment building with easy lift or stair access, only a short stroll down the corridor from the lift/stairs to the apartment. The apartment itself is very spacious as holiday apartments go. Big bedroom (with A/C) with two single beds together or separated if you prefer. Spacious living area also with A/C, sofa bed (sleeps 2) , dining area and a separate well equipped kitchen. Apartment has everything you need, Washing machine, WiFi, Flat screen with Sat TV etc. Not many English channels but TV has USB and build in media player so no problem if you have an external drive or flash drive. Router next to it also if you have an Android box etc. Good balcony with great views of the old town/ocean and gets the sun all afternoon and evening which was really nice to sit out in. Lovely relaxing pool on the roof which is very easy to get to up a few steps from the end of the corridor. Plenty of sun beds and never too busy. Only small drawback was there was no pool bar but was no big deal. People took drinks and snacks up from their own apartment. Location was great, less then 100 meters from the building was an escalator that takes you straight down to a really nice beach and you’re also right down into the main strip of the old down when you get down the escalator. Location was really ideal with plenty of good bars/restaurants within a two minute walk. Aldi/Lidl less that a kilometer away if you want to stock up for the week for half the price. All in all a really good apartment for families, couples or groups. Would be happy to recommend it and would definitely go back there.

Location, Location, Location!

This property is in the perfect location. Just a 2 minute walk to the escalators taking you directly to the beach on the left and the strip (Bars, shopping, night life, tours, etc.) on the right. I can not say enough for the location. I was there with a friend for 3 nights and everything we needed was right there except the 6 hour boat tour we booked (Highly recommend that as well) which was a 6 euro cab ride to the marina. So many wonderful sights and the friendliest people I have ever met and I have toured Europe.

Stefan the housekeeper picked us up from the airport super late as our flights were mixed up and was such a wonderful person about it. It was an additional 50 euro because it was so late but worth it for peace of mind. Expect to pay 45 euro for the transfer which is only a few dollars more than the other transfer services and again....worth the peace of mind.

The apartment is lovely, clean and cool! The air conditioning works wonders on a hot day and the layout is great. Much bigger than the pictures show and the veranda is stunning at night with all its views. The bed in the room is THE biggest bed I have ever seen. 3 adults could sleep in it and I have a king bed at home. The couch/bed in the living area is very decent size. You could easily have 4-5 people sleep in comfort all together in the apartment of course the bathroom situation might discourage that since there is only 1.

We never made it to the pool which was a selling point for us in choosing this place because we did not know how close the beach actually was. The pool can be accessed all hours if you are quiet though so that is a plus.

If you are coming for a stay in Albufeira then look no further this place is a must and will NOT disappoint. It was also beautifully cleaned and well organized.

*The only suggestion I would give to you is to have maybe some waters, fresh fruit and coffee available to your renters. Since we got it in so late no shops were open for these items which made the morning a little difficult. Other than that ....simply perfect!!

Great view from balcony and perfect location

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment, minutes to the escalator to the beach and town or a short walk down narrow one way streets, less than 15 minutes to walk to 2 large supermarkets. The apartment was large, bright and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. The view from the balcony over the town to the sea is beautiful. Stefan picked us up from the airport and was very helpful and informative, we had a minor problem with the TV and it was dealt with immediately. I highly recommend this apartment, Albufeira in the off season is a wonderful place for long walks along the beach and cliffs and there are a lot of nice restaurants in the Old Town

Good location but lacks in other areas!

The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because of location, otherwise it would be less. You can walk to beach, dining and shopping very easily. The place was had a nice view of water and the village.

Upon arrival I was told to contact the house keeper and meet him at a parking lot. This did not go well, the address given by the owner, Tobias, was not specific enough and we spent almost an hour trying to find each other. This was not a great start, very frustrating. But after we meet Stephan we were taken to the place and showed around.

Some suggestions...bed needs more comfortable pillows and more of them. Also, have some water for your guests. I've stayed at other properties where the owner has had the frig stocked with basic items. And $80 euro for cleaning???? That's a lot!!!! We were only there 2 nights...showered once and never used the kitchen...oh and when arrived there were cigarette butts all over patio...that is not clean to me!!!

If your looking for a beautiful beach resort we stumbled upon the Pine Cliffs Resort when looking for a beach...this is where I would stay next time.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that you could not enjoy your holiday, but: - you were the first guests who where not able to find the meetingpoint, even if we gave you the directions. This one is on mainstreet in Albufeira, so that you can not fail this one. As we said it is an good idea to check up Google Maps before to get an idea where you are going to go and where you can meet our housekeeper. - we think our bed is quite comfortable. We changed the matrassess in May 2016. you could have seen on the pictures that we do not have 5 pillows per Person. - our cleaningwoman is very tidy and systematic. But we are sorry that you saw cigarette buts on the patio. We will let her know, so that it will never happen again. - actually we do not prepare bottels of water for our guests. This is an apartment and no hotel room. But we do have Shampoo and shower gel. This is really good for an apartment. - we do write on the page of fewo-direkt.de that check out is possible between 8-11am. If you need to go earlier or later please let us know. So you did not say that you want to leave to another time, so you can't complain about that. And of course our housekeeper will check you out to see if there is everything fine in the apartment and with our guests and to get back the keys and garage opener. I think that you just did not inform yourself enough. We are sorry for all faults which belong to our responsibility.

Beautiful location, beautiful views and beautiful weather

The property was fantastic. The views from the balcony were brilliant, a beautiful sea view each and every day. The other key feature of the property was the rooftop pool which again looks out over the sea too.

The property is in a great location within easy walking distance of the beach, bars, restaurants, shops and transport links.

We will be going back here!
