We had a wonderful week's stay in this beautiful apartment located in the heart of Baden-Baden's historic centre. The Apartment was a perfect 'home from home' for both my wife and I, along with our 11 year old daughter. The garden terrace was a beautiful place to relax and the apartment is within easy reach of all necessary amenities.
Susanne was a great host and we hope to return some day - and if we're fortunate enough to do so, we'll look forward to it hugely.
This is a very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment. Its location is not only central, but has beautiful views overlooking the church, city and hills. The garden is an added bonus for relaxing, reading or eating after a day of sightseeing or shopping. We no doubt think it would be equally as enjoyable in the winter. The owners are friendly and very helpful and ensured our holiday was trouble free. No need to visit the Tourist Information Office as all the information you need is there waiting for you. And a bottle of chilled German wine also waiting to be enjoyed on arrival! You don't know what your missing here!

As soon as we arrived at Casa Marina we knew it would be special and special it most certainly was. From the warmth of her welcome to the advice and recommendations about what to see and do, Susanne was the perfect host and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting to her (her English is excellent, unlike our German) and finding out about Baden Baden in particular and Germany in general.
The apartment is perfect. It's a great location, looking out over the old town and the hills beyond and only a stone's throw from the spas and the town. We've never stayed in such a well-equipped and comfortable apartment; a real home from home.
Our holiday in Baden Baden was one of our best. Huge thanks to Susanne, Peter and family for helping to make it so.
We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Fantastic accomodation and fantastic owners. Suzanne went out of her way to make sure everything we needed was supplied and has a fantastic knowledge of the local area, and speaks very good English so communications with those with limited knowledge of German (like me!) is no problem. Suzanne even lent us some of her daughters DVD's (in English) as we had forgotten to take any for those evenings where we wanted to stop in.
You will get fit with all the steps to contend with - as others have said, it won't be too accessible to those with mobility issues, but for everyone else I highly recommend this accomodation.
What we enjoyed most in Baden-Baden, other than the accomodation:
The thermal baths with the outside pool - really odd but surprisingly pleasant, lying in an outdoor jacuzzi when it's snowing!
There are loads of coffee houses and pastry shops - our favourite was 'KaffeeHaus'
We would like to see Baden-Baden in summer, and won't be looking for any other accomodation!
Thank you Suzanne and Peter for a wonderful holiday.

We loved this accommodation. It was such a lovely place, newly renovated, great space and facilities. It is very close to the town centre but it doesn't feel like it which makes for a relaxing stay. The host Susanne was very welcoming and helpful. She showed us maps, places to eat and to visit and how to get to them. She even gave us a lift to the train station, walked us to the ticket office and organised our tickets. The only negative is there is no wifi but she did offer for us to use hers when we needed to contact our next accommodation. No wifi could also add to the relaxing stay. Would definitely visit again. Very happy visitors. Thank Susanne.
I stayed in Casa Marina with my 10 year old son for 5 nights in early July 2012. Susanne the owner picked us up from the train station and went out of her way to make sure we had a nice time in Baden - which of course we did.
The apartment is on the ground floor and Susanne and her family live in the house above. The photos on the webite give a really good idea of just how spacious and pleasant this apartment is. It had only just been renovated and so nearly everything was brand new. It even had a Miele washing machine. I particularly enjoyed all the natural light and also the fact that it is completely non smoking.
The apartment is very close to the baths (in one of the photos you can see Friedrichsbad in the foreground). The only noise we encountered was the church bells tolling the hour and quarter hour during the day. That didn't bother us and just added to the atmosphere of being in the Alte Stadt of Baden.
The apartment overlooks the town which provides great views but of course it also means that there are a few stairs to go up and down each day. Susanne will show you how to avoid part of the climb by using the lift in the Wagener department store but this is not a place for someone with a mobility issue.
If I can get my wife to come with me to Baden, my goal is to stay in Casa Marina again.
