Public transport and surroundings:
tram 2: Station in front of the house. You can reach the Vienna historical city within minutes and it passes by many places of interest like: Townhall, Burgtheater, Parliament, some nice Parks, Hofburg and the Opera.
tram 5: Station in front of the house. This tram takes you to Augarten and to the leisure park Prater.
tram33: Station in front of the house. You can reach the Danube Island, where you can go swimming, go in for other sports and where you can find a lot of Restaurants on the “Copa Kagrana”.
Underground U6 : The station is located within a five-minutes walk. It takes you to the railway station Westbahnhof, the event hall “Stadthalle”, the big shopping street Mariahilfer Straße, the Danube Island and the shopping mall and cinema centre Millenniumcity
If you need a parking space for a car, there are two public garages near the apartment.

This apartment is located in a real neighborhood as opposed to "midtown" so you get the experience of living in Vienna. The furniture is serviceable (not high style but pleasant) and the kitchen set up works well as does the washing machine. Be prepared to bring your own supplies (toilet paper, tissues, coffee) etc.) The owner is very genuine and easy to communicate with.
Everything about the apartment was ideal for our short break in Vienna. We had all that we needed, the apartment was exactly as advertised, was clean and even had tea in the cupboard! The Innere Stadt is within walking distance but there is a tram stop right outside and the U-Bahn line 6 is really convenient. It's so good that the apartment faces the inner courtyard as this means that the only noise in the morning is birdsong.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable, perfect for two people, and it is very well situated. We found that we could visit all the main attractions of this beautiful city without once using public transport, although if we had chosen to take the tram it was just outside the front door. A walk to any of the Hofburg Palace, the Spanish Riding School, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Leopold Museum, is only about 30 minutes. The Stephansdom and central city streets about 5 or 10 minutes more; the Secession Building and Karlsplatz with its wonderful museum of the history of Vienna takes about 40 minutes. Vienna is a very walkable place and you really get to feel the ambience of the city. There is a supermarket just a few doors from the apartment building and the U-Bahn for when you arrive and leave is only two blocks away. You will like this place!
A very comfortable apartment in a convenient location for public transport - just outside the door. Everything as stated on the description and spotlessly clean and is extremely well fitted out. Although on a main street the apartment is at the rear of the building and overlooks an inner courtyard and is very quiet.
The owner met us on arrival and was very helpful. A small problem with the boiler during our stay was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would certainly stay at this location again and would certainly recommend this apartment to others. Restaurants nearby within a few minutes made eating out in the evenings very easy and tram stops outside made it very easy to access the city.
This apartment was centrally located and is only a few blocks away from the underground with a bus stop across the street so it is in a very convenient location. The owner met us and took the time to explain the area and the apartment to us. The kitchen was well stocked and it was great to have a wash machine to use. There isn't a dryer but we hung up the clothes and they dried fairly quickly. There is an elevator to this 3rd floor apartment and the windows all face in to the courtyard so it was very quiet. I agree that having instructions for all the appliances in other languages would be a big help. A good find for the price.
Our charming holiday apartment is located in one of Vienna’s most popular residential districts and is an ideal starting point for your visit to Vienna. The 60m² -apartment, which accommodates 1-6 persons, is extensively restored. It is calm although it lies in a shopping street with lots of shops, restaurants and snack bars.
The historical Vienna City Centre is located within walking distance or can be reached by tram within few minutes.
