My son and I had a wonderful experience staying in Studio Azur on Rue Mouffetard in our minivacation in Paris. We would repeat this experience anytime. I especially appreciated the communication with the owner of the appartment, the amount of information he provided to us via email in order to make our staying more enjoyable and comfortable and in general his punctuality in communicating with us. The appartment is very chic with a modern touch and it has a great location, near the metro and a lot of markets, the Notre Dame and the heart of the city in general. I would recommand to any of my friends to come here and spent wonderful moments in a place combining the modern and the tradition.
We had a fantastic stay in the Latin Quarter. I searched through many properties and finally ended up deciding on this property because of the location and the value. Everything from booking, paying, check in and check out was seamless. There were two markets blocks away from the studio, plenty of night life all around, metro stops blocks away, and Notre Dame was just a 10-15 min walk! I would not hesitate recommending this place to stay to family and friends. I am already longing to come back to Paris!!!!
We stayed at this studio apartment for a week in May. It was a lovely space, perfect as a home-base for our time in Paris. The layout is great, and we loved the large windows overlooking the street. The bed was very comfortable and the washroom and kitchen were sufficient for us. As mentioned in many reviews, Rue Mouffetard is a happening place with lots of cafes and little stores. It's a wonderful street to live on because everything you need is close at hand and at the end of a busy day, it was great to know that there were lots of excellent restaurants very close by. The street is noisy at night - bring ear plugs. The proximity to The Cite and walking distance to the subway, make it's location hard to beat.
Do make sure to bring your own toiletries as these are not supplied. Some extra care in supplying things like toilet paper, paper towelling, face cloths, umbrellas, soap, or even a little welcome package, would make this place even better.
Wonderfull, not so small studio. Walk up the stairs in one century, and once the door to the apartment opens, you are back in the 21st century… Lots of fun, true adventure! We stayed 5 nights, which was perfect, The walk up isn't bad at all (we are in our 60's). The place is Clean, and friendly people rent this flat. There wasn't much extra supplies (e.g. toilet paper), but stores in the neighborhood are available.
Great restaurants right in the neighborhood, as well as cafe's for just relaxing.. Most mornings, fresh baked breads are available within a one minute walk. Close to everything! Notre Dame is less than a half mile away, which is the heart of Paris!
I wouldn't suggest sleeping in the loft, as the cieling is pretty low, but the king size bed on the main floor was very comfortable. I'd recommend this place for a couple, as more than that could get crowded. The clothes washer works, but doesn't dry the clothes.
I recommend this flat, and would go back to it happily.
My wife and I stayed in this apartment in Paris and have no regrets. The owner speaks fantastic English, is very professional, and punctual in email communication. He uses PayPal for transactions which is safe and convenient. The apt is located within 5 min walk of Place Monge with very easy train access to all of Paris. The walking time to Notre Dame was under 20 min. Luxembourg gardens and Botanical gardens also within 10-15 min walk. Plenty of restaurants. Area was very lively and always bustling with locals. Bed and comforter were comfy and key for needed rest.
Four of us stayed, two adults 16 and 9 year old. We loved the location and the apartment. It is as advertised. The upper bed is not for the claustrophobic but the bed was comfortable. We adults slept well in bigger bed on main level. We enjoyed the activities of the street but did have to shut the front windows at night a few times as there is a student oriented bar across the street. Cannot beat the location and everything you need is nearby. Ofer and Caroline do nice job. We would stay here again, it was a great vacation.
