Our house is located in an a tiny former fishing village (no cottage area) on Helnæs.
In just a few steps (75 m) you reach the quiet beach with shallow water. A portion is for 'treasure hunters' - Tierversteinerungen, stone tools, shells. , , , Tempting even in moderate weather.
The house is equipped with a large combined kitchen / dining / living room, bathroom with shower, bedroom, 2 bedrooms, hallway and equipment room. There are 6 fixed beds, distributed on bedroom with double bed and 2 rooms with a bunk bed and an additional 2 loose mattresses available.
On the 60 m2 large east / south / west terrace you can enjoy the sun in the morning at breakfast, daytime sunbathing and evening enjoy dinner. Will it, through the sheltered location in the sun too hot, the covered area gives a pleasant shade.
The property is spacious and undisturbed.
In the summer of supermarket just 200 meters away from the house.
The interior of the house is made of wood walls, carpeted floors and tile floors in the bathroom. Besides the electric heater, a stove provides cozy warmth if necessary. The TV has satellite dish and the Internet is via WLAN. The kitchen is equipped with stove / oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and many kitchen utensils.
The house is fully furnished incl. Children chair and cot. Please bring only bed linen, towels and tea towels.
On the terrace garden furniture, deckchairs, sun umbrella and barbecue are available.
Separately there is a carport with equipment room.
The undisturbed and sheltered 800 m2 plot is planted with grass, trees and shrubs and offers in the garden with 2 swings plenty of space for children.
The neighborhood consists of fixed living Danes and 2-3 cottages.
The sea can be seen from the house.
located inland in 200 meters a small quiet owner-run campsite with "tourist office", bike rental, mini-golf and shopping facilities (in German), so you do not have to dispense with fresh breakfast rolls.
The varied beach, with both cliffs and flat area, very good opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, beach walking, sailing and fishing. Here you can go to "treasure hunt" also, even if not quite as ideal weather. It can be found fossilized marine animals and lots of stone tools / pieces of stone from the stone age. Helnæs has been inhabited from the Stone Age, through the Viking Age (Runestone at the National Museum in Copenhagen) until today. Mussels, small snail shells and tanks and shearing of crabs there of course.
Throughout the whole year in general very interesting with natural beach, fields and forest with colorful birds (bird sanctuary) and abundant wildlife. Deer with Kids, hares and pheasants are often in the garden to visit.
From Helnæs you can also go on excursions to some of the many surrounding attractions of Funen. The day trip can also go to Legoland or Copenhagen.
