Perfect for our Family

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this property for over 6 months while our house was being remodeled. It was very comfortable, had all the things we need for a home with children and had lots of storage space. It is also very close to restaurants, public transportion and parks for the kids. The parking in the back of the house was also a huge bonus, in that we did not need to look for street parking everyday. Madalienne was also great to work with and made everything easy for move in and move out. If you are visiting SF or need a place to stay longer-term, this is a great place for you.

SF trip

GReat lady to rent from/so personable & nice. Home is a classic, built in 1920. Great location on west side. Only 6.5 miles from Giants ball park. Food places 2 blocks north on Irving, lots to choose from. Home is really comfortable/love the ability to park in garage-so convenient. All was good. dan

Owner's Response: I was delighted to meet you and several members of your family. I am very happy that my home suited your purpose. Thank you for your kind words. My goal is to offer families a comfortable, safe and convenient place to stay when they are in San Francisco. This home is very important to me. It is where I had my children, where I offer my brothers and their families a comfortable place to stay when they are in town, and where I offer support to families who are caring for relatives following surgery at UCSF. Sincerely, Madalienne

sweet sunset house

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely, quiet stay in this beautiful house for my husband's birthday. We brought our kid and our baby and showed them the sights around the neighborhood we lived in when we first started dating. We lived going to the De Young, the pedal boats in Stow Lake, and curry noodle soup at PPQ. Coming back to the house and its incredibly comfortable beds after a long walk in the park was dreamy. We left our car at home and used public transportation. Easy peasy from the house to anything we wanted to do. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and we'll-stocked. We will definitely stay again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. It is important that family members feel comfortable when they stay in my San Francisco home. Your stories of sharing your early lives with your children reminded me of my own efforts to keep those early memories fresh in the minds of my children. Thank you again. Sincerely, Madalienne

Immaculate home in the Sunset

  • 5 of 5

We are a family with a 10-year old boy and a 13-year old girl who had never been to the West coast. This rental was superb: well maintained, well located in the Sunset district near Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach, and with the autonomy one has living in a separate house with a garage/back yard parking with gate. The owner was extremely clear and we never had any problems at all.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review. I want to make sure that families have a comfortable, quiet, secure place to stay as they explore San Francisco. This is a home I loved living in myself as I raised my children, and I try to provide a welcoming home to others so that they can have a taste of my experience living in a wonderful city. Again, thank you for your kind words. I am thrilled that your family enjoyed their first San Francisco visit. Sincerely, Madalienne

Beautiful house, perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed in this beautiful house for four days for Spring Break. We have 3 young children 7,4, and 1, and the house worked perfectly for us. This was our first vacation home rental experience so I wasn't sure what to expect. The owner was lovely and when we accidentally forgot a bag with my daughters asthma medicine in it and she overnighted it to us the next morning. The house was very clean and had plenty of fresh linens. The kitchen had everything I needed, including a spice cabinet and items like sugar. I loved that there was a highchair and portable crib for the baby. We walked to Golden Gate park and took the kids to The Academy of Sciences, which is a fabulous museum. There were lots of restaurants and a Starbucks within walking distance. It was a great trip and we would love to stay again in the future!
