Very close to wonderful Tanger Outlets for great tax-free outlet shopping, to supermarkets, restaurants, and water park, as well as downtown and the beach.

5 bedroom 3-1/2 bath two-story twin home sleeps ten (max.), with two master suites (one on the ground floor) - perfect for a family or more than one couple. Beautifully furnished in a modern style, colorful and bright, with luxurious comfortable screened porch. We are long-time residents of Washington, DC. This is our second home, which we love! It is the only property we rent out. We have been listing on HomeAway and VRBO since 2002. We have been spending time together in Rehoboth since 1998.

Why Barry or Jim chose Delaware

We love the location close to town, but in a quiet and attractive community (Eagles Landing). The setting is green and calm, and our unit is only a one-minute walk from the tennis courts and community pool. This is our second home, our beach getaway.

What makes this townhome unique

Near town, but away from the bustle. Quiet, green and pleasant development with plenty of trees and just far enough from busy Route 1, but close enough to be in downtown Rehoboth or at the beach or outlets in just a few minutes. Spacious and comfortable, especially since we added the screened porch, our favorite place to relax. End unit twinhome with lots of light. We think we have the nicest garden in the development, too! 3 community pools. Main pool and tennis courts are right outside our door.

perfect spot for our family

This townhouse has everything one needs for comfort and ease of access to all that Rehoboth Beach has to offer.

we brought our two adult children and their spouses,,and a grandchild from each family,,,there was ample room for all, with private baths for each family,,and diaper space for the pee-wees,,,

pool close but not noisy,,good parking right up against the house,,easy shopping,,food and otherwise,,,bathrooms modern and excellent condition,,,great use of washer and dryer in kitchen area,,,fantastic screened porch with bbq gas grill for nearly daily use,,,owners very helpful and gave some great advice,,,need more hangers in closets,,

nice kitchen appliances,,and lots of couch space,,,tvs need some new flat panels with dvr capacity,,

tennis courts across the parking lot,,easy access,,

recommend this condo as being faily priced and well maintained,,, no smoking a great plus,,,,thanks Barry from Marv and Jane and Family

As for the tv's, we will put them on the long-term list. As our repeat clients know, we try to improve a little bit every year. The property is well located to take advantage of Rehoboth Beach.

It is 11/2 miles to the beach. We found it easiest to take a car with all of the beach chairs, umbrella, etc., find a parking spot, a second car picked up the driver and they both came back to the property for breakfast. The property development has a pool (which we made little use of) but it was nice to take a quick dip after the beach.

We are not accustomed to being required to bring our own sheets and towels (although I am told this common in Rehoboth area), but we survived. I was upset that the bedding supplied by the owner (mattress covers, blankets, pillows) were dirty and in some instances had small rips. The sliding door to the screened in porch was hard to open and some of the furniture is beginning to show it's age.

Notwithstanding all of these complaints my family of seven adults with two toddlers had a fantastic time. The property is spacious and fully equipped. The dining area easily handled our crowd for breakfast and dinner. The TV area became the activity center for the week and the kitchen included all of the modern appliances, plenty of tableware and dishes, and lots of work space.

At the end of the week we were instructed to clean the property so as to return it in the same condition that it was received. The owner only expected to provide "light cleaning" between renters. I think this a mistake and led to my complaints stated above. At the end of a week with my adult children and two grandchildren, neither my wife nor any member of our group, intends to scrub, vacuum, or do anything more than pack up, put the last of the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, turn it on, and lock the front door.

Owner's Response: We really appreciate the feedback, and are happy these minor issues did not ruin the stay. To be clear, we do ask that our guests leave the property clean, but we don't expect scrubbing or complete cleaning. We just want to make sure that things are tidy enough that our cleaners can do a good job in the very short turn-around time they have between renters on Saturdays, and we will try to clarify the language in our welcome packet. We do our best to leave the property in good condition at the start of the season, and certainly try not leave anything dirty. While some of the furniture is showing some age, we chose to replace the carpets and linoleum with wood and tile floors, and to replace the refrigerator this year. We try to do a little bit of fixing or updating every year, and unfortunately, we can't do everything. However, we will certainly take a look at the porch door, and also check for torn or dirty comforters and pillows at the end of the season, and launder or replace anything necessary. We depend on our renters to report things which are broken or unsatisfactory, so we truly appreciate the information.

Lovely despite A/C problem

2 Kendall Lane is a lovely place to stay. The bedrooms met the needs of everyone, the kitchen, living and dining rooms are well placed, and it is right by the pool and tennis courts. We used the sunroon often as well. It is also walking distance to a goodfish restaurant and others. We had seveal days of A/C malfunction which wasn't fun, but the owners were very responsive and had the repairman come prompty whenever it happened until it was fixed.

Great vacation home for families!

Very comfortable vacation home - quick drive to beach and had no problem parking with parking passes mid-morning (we purchased one for the week also)....great pool/tennis courts across the street. Very clean - perfect for my husband and me, our two daughters/husbands and two grandsons ages 2-1/2 and 1-1/2.... felt like home. WONDERFUL SCREENED SUN PORCH!

Owners provide fast responses to questions about the home and realtor was helpful about best places to park at the beach.

Great doughnuts at the Fractured Prune - a short walk away.

We are very close to town, beach, restaurants and outlet shopping, just West of Route 1 (behind the Big Fish Grill). Rehoboth Beach's beautiful sand beaches, charming shopping lanes, and famous boardwalk are just about one mile away. Close to the outlet malls and great shopping on Route 1, many wonderful restaurants and family activities. Golf is not far, and 3 community pools and tennis are right in our community of Eagles Landing. 3 parking spaces plus one parking pass for town. Charming Lewes and fun-filled Dewey and Bethany Beaches are minutes away.

Damage Deposit $50

We use our local managerment company, which also handles check-in, keys, emergencies, etc. They charge a non-refundable $75 processing fee. There is a 2.2% surcharge for payment by credit card. A $50 non-refundable damage insurance waiver covers the first $500 of damage (in lieu of security deposit), also offered by our local management company, not HomeAway/VRBO/Vacationrentals. If you do not take the damage insurance, we require a $500 cash damage security, refundable upon verification of the condition of the property after checkout.
PLEASE NOTE: RENTAL CONTRACT TERMS WILL BE THOSE OF LOCAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY, NOT HOMEAWAY/VRBO.
TERMS: A deposit equal to 50% of the rental fee plus the processing fee is due within 10 days of making the reservation. Any outstanding balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date (final payment date)...the typical amount being the sum of 50% rental fee, the ADW or security deposit, plus any applicable rental tax. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and checks are all acceptable forms of payment. In cases of payment by check, all funds shall be made payable to Mann & Sons, Inc. Please notate the reservation number on all checks. Reservations that are not paid in full by the final payment date are subject to cancellation and forfeiture of all advance payments.
Cancellation Policy: If the GUEST cancels, GUEST forfeits all monies paid, subject to the following: If PROPERTY is re-rented for same dates, GUESTs forfeiture is 15% of rental fee plus any difference between original rental fee and replacement rental fee. Processing Fee is non-refundable. We DO NOT honor the HomeAway/VRBO 100% cancelation up to 30 days before the rental period begins.
