The Queen's Birthday in Te Mata
This was our second visit to Mike's property which goes to show what a great place we think it is to stay. The views are fantastic rain or shine, and the accommodation warm and comfortable. Thanks again Mike!
Such a comfortable place to stay with a stunning view. We only stayed one night, but will definitely book again.
Great base to explore the Raglan area
The house is a great base to explore the area. It was comfortable and spacious enough for a family of 5. The place is sparkling clean, sunny and very well set up. The sunroom with large table and BBQ is a great bonus are were the passion fruit from the garden. Bridal Veil Waterfalls are just around the corner (short drive). We would definitely stay there again. Great house, very friendly hosts - we had a great stay. Thank you!
Great property with great hosts
Great batch not far from Raglan town
My friends and I loved the batch! It was very clean, had all the facilities you'd need and a lovely view of the countryside.
Fantastic place- with superb views
Superb location and friendly and very helpful host. Really nice kitchen facility and very good wi-fi. Great place for kids.
Located approximately 15 minutes drive from Raglan, we are situated in an elevated rural setting with commanding views over 300 degrees. Need to bring food and drink supplies with you, if you don't plan on going into Raglan.
Bridal veil falls is around the corner and further on from that is the Te Uku wind farm with is accessible on mountain bikes.
Remote Ruapuke Beach is 20 minutes drives away down mostly sealed and scenic country roads.
Raglan's surf beaches are 20min plus drive away. Starting with Ngaranui and further is Manu and Whale Bay.
Mount Karior is a good days tramp. Access off Ruapuke Road.
Aotea and Kawhai harbour (hot water beach thermals) are about 1hours drive south on unsealed metal roads. Very scenic and often laiden with wildlife.
Waitomo Caves are an hour and a half away by car.
